For the thick-bed method of installation, LATICRETE 3701 Mortar Admix is mixed with LATICRETE 226 Thick Bed Mortar to provide a mortar bed that is exceptionally strong and resistant to weather, frost, salt, thermal and physical shock.

For the thin-set method of installation, LATICRETE 254 Platinum exceeds ANSI A118.4 and ANSI 118.11 standards. LATICRETE 254 Platinum is designed for interior and exterior applications, underwater installations, and provides a superior bond to concrete and masonry surfaces. It is the professionals’ choice for porcelain tile.

The grouting portion of this system consists of two choices. First, the revolutionary LATICRETE SpectraLOCK™ PRO Grout which is available in 40 lifestyle colors that are stain resistant, colorfast and compliant with ANSI A118.3. Second, when stain and chemical resistance is not an important criteria, LATICRETE 1500 Sanded Grout and LATICRETE 1600 Unsanded Grout mixed with LATICRETE 1776 Grout Admix provide a blend of high strength portland cement, grade aggregates, polymers and color-fast pigments.

Protection of the substrate is the foundation of a durable tile and stone installation. The first component is LATICRETE 9235 Waterproofing Membrane to protect the substrate and other space from water damage.

Depending upon the type of installation, LATICRETE has the appropriate solution. For a commercial kitchen, LATICRETE 254 Platinum can be used as the adhesive mortar. However, for a dairy or brewery where chemical resistance is critical, LATAPOXY 300 Adhesive is recommended. LATAPOXY 300 Adhesive is a 100% solids high-strength epoxy adhesive, ASTM C627 rated for “Extra Heavy” Service exceeding ANSI A118.3.

For industrial grout applications, LATAPOXY 2000 Industrial Grout is a 100% solids epoxy grout recommended for industrial and commercial food processing applications such as dairies, breweries, meat packing plants, clean-in-place rooms,

animal hospitals, clinics and commercial kitchens. LATAPOXY 2000 exceeds ANSI A118.3 and ANSI 118.5 standards, is fast curing and ready for traffic in as little as 12 hours. Unaffected by many acids, corrosives and solvents, LATAPOXY 2000 can be used in USDA inspected meat and poultry plants.

This system incorporates a waterproofing membrane and is designed for exterior use over occupied space and wood construction decks. An integral subsurface drainage component provides for elimination of infiltrated water.

The patented, lightweight LATICRETE Tile Drain Mat provides three times the drainage rate of a conventional 2" (50 mm) crushed gravel bed and reduces the potential for efflorescence. The mat is engineered to permit maximum load transfer to the structural deck while allowing lateral flow of infiltrated water to flow easily to drains, scuppers or gutters.

This unique system can be used over structurally sound and properly pitched substrates (concrete, pre-cast concrete planks, wood frame construction) that have been waterproofed with a primary waterproofing roofing membrane. Recommended for new construction and renovation such as plazas, walkways, exposed decks, balconies, terraces, courtyards, and any exterior paving area subject to severe weather, frost and moisture.
