Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC)• Formed in March 1995 with the merger of two of the
world's premier technology companies, Lockheed Corporation and Martin Marietta Corporation.
• Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, LM employs about 130,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture and integration of advanced technology systems, products and services.
• A leader in defense and civil government markets, LM is the largest provider of Information Technology (IT) services, systems integration, and training to the U.S. Government.

LM Information Technology (LMIT)• Specializes in government information technology. Four key business areas are:
(1) Application Development and Maintenance – handles major programs for the Social Security Administration, Department of Energy, Department of Health and Human Services, Patent & Trademark Office, U.S. Navy.(2) Business Strategy and Consulting - handles major programs for the Department of Labor, Defense Finance & Accounting Service, Immigration and Naturalization Service.(3) Enterprise Services and Strategic Programs - handles major programs for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Energy, Office of the President and U.S. Senate, NASA, Department of Defense.
• Integration and Technical Support - handles major programs for the Immigration & Naturalization Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration.

LM Information Technology (LMIT) (4) Integration and Technical Support - handles major programs for the Immigration &
Naturalization Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration.
• LMIT supplies engineering, planning, automation, environmental analysis and other services to the FAA. Vital parts of these services fall under the National Airspace System (NAS) Implementation Support Contract, or NISC.
• Integration and Technical Support - handles major programs for the Immigration & Naturalization Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration.

• Under NISC, LMIT is responsible for supporting the FAA NAS modernization requirements.
• NISC helps integrate and implement state-of-the-art air traffic control systems, equipment, components and related capital projects.

Small Business Opportunity Information
• LM works from a database of over 2500 small businesses.
• LM has a government approved procurement system and follows fairly strict procures to complete acquisitions. These procedures follow the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS).
• To do business on NISC or on any other LM prime contract, technical/operations personnel would identify a need and develop requirements. Those requirements are given to the NISC Human Resources and Contracts personnel in Washington, DC.

Small Business Opportunity Procedures
• Register with the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database. Register at “http://www.ccr.gov” or contact the local SBA office.
• Register in the LM supplier database to be brought on as a source or as a LM subcontractor. Register at “http://www.lockheedmartin.com/suppliernet”. Select Potential Suppliers and complete a Supplier Profile Form. After completion, call 1-877-562-7756 for business units POCs.
