In this game, you can spend realmoney in order to purchase plays onin-game badge-catche r c ranemachines. An Internet connection isrequired in order to purchase plays.

You can use themes to customizethe look and feel of your HOMEMenu. Themes can change thingslike your HOME Menu's backgroundand the look of your folders.

If you turn off your system or yoursystem loses power during play,you wil l lose all progress madesince your last save as well as anyremaining plays. Progress cannot berestored, and lost plays cannot berefunded, so please be careful.

Badges are saved to the SDcard.Badges collected on this systemcan be used only on this system.Inse rt ing your SD card int oanother system will not makeyour badges usable there.I f you de lete your NintendoNetwork ID, all of your badgeswill be erased. You will not beable to redownload them.

 ◆ Plays that you've purchasedcan be used on any badgecatcher in the arcade. Pleasenote that plays must be usedduring the visit in which theyare purchased. They can't besaved for a later visit.

10 Getting Themes

You can visit the Theme Shop viathe hall. Go to the Theme Shop tolearn about current specialpromotions and see which themesyou've already acquired.

To see which themes you'veacquired, ta at the HOMEMenu and then sel ecChange Theme. If you've eraseda theme, you can redownload itvi Theme Shop → ThemeCollection.

Themes are saved to the SDcard. Themes collected on this systemcan be used only on this system.Inse rt ing your SD card int oanother system will not makeyour themes usable there.

◆ Themes may no longe r beavailable for redownload if theirdistribution has been suspendedor discontinued.

Please be sure to collect themesyou have qualified for from theTheme Shop promptly. You won'tbe able to ge t a spec ia lpromotion's theme once thatspecial promotion has ended.

I f you de lete your NintendoNetwork ID, access to yourthemes will be lost. You will notbe able to redownload them.

11 Adding Funds to Your Account

A Nintendo eShop Card or creditcard is needed to add funds to youraccount.◆ You can store your credit-card

information, which lets you addfunds to your account by simplyentering the password youestabl ished when you f irs tentered the credi t-cardinformation.

◆ You can delete the credit-cardinfo rmat ion at any t ime byaccessing Set tings / Other inNintendo eShop.

Indeed you can! Simply tap thebunny on the bottom screen, andthen ask him to reset the badgesfor you. Please note that when abadge catcher's contents are reset,all badges still in the machine willbe re turned to the ir o rig inalpositions and new copies of anybadges you've caught will be usedto ful l y restock the machine .Resetting the contents of machinesin no way affects your collection ofcaught badges.

Once you've run out of free plays,the bunny will ask you if you wantto purchase additional plays. Followthe prompts he provides in order todo so.

At certain intervals, the bunny willoffer you the option of increasingthe number of plays you purchaseat one time. You can return to theoriginal payment structure wheneveryou want simply by tapping him onthe lower screen and selectingBundle setting.

If the badge catchers in the arcadedon't seem to be updating properly,go to System Settings, select DataManagement → Nintendo 3DS →Downloadable Content, and thenerase the data for Nintendo BadgeArcade. Your badge box has room for 1,000different badge designs from 100catego ries. To change whichcategories appear in your badgebox, visit the Help Desk and thenselect My badge box. Please notethat if you only have badges fromone category in your collection,that category can't be removedfrom your badge box. 16 Miscellaneous

Losing your Internet connectionwhile playing can cause you to loseyour remaining plays and anythingyou've caught since your last save.To prevent such losses, always playwith a stable connect ion, andreconnect as soon as possible ifyou lose your connection whileplaying.

Erasing Nintendo Badge Arcadefrom your system will prevent youfrom accessing the game but haveno effect on your badge collection.To start using the game again,redownload it from Nintendo eShop.

◆ As long as you don't close thesoftware, turn off your power, orrun out of bat tery power,temporarily disconnecting fromthe Internet should not causeyou to lose remaining plays ornew badges. I f you'vetemporarily disconnected fromthe Internet, we recommendplugging in your system's ACadapter to maintain power untilyou can reconnect.

This varies from region to region.The arcade's hours of operation inyour region are displayed on thelower left of the lower screen onthe title screen. The first time listedin the arcade's hours of operation isthe time at which each new daystarts.

This software uses the time zoneset in System Settings to determinethe current t ime . I f the t imedisplayed in the hall doesn't matchyour local time, check your time-zone setting by selecting SystemSettings → Nintendo Network IDSettings → Profile Settings.

Play codes are single-use codesthat enable you to enjoy free plays.If you've received a play code andwant to redeem it, go to the arcade,visit the badge catchers, tap thebunny on the lower screen, andselect I have a play code!◆ Take care not to mistake the
