Other important characteristics and tasks: ISJ is the most important employer in the area ISJ coordinates the national exams both for students and

for teachers: baccalaureate, national evaluation for secondary education, olympiads, didactic degrees for teachers

ISJ acts as an interface between local communities and schools

ISJ puts into practice the Ministry of Education’s policy ISJ supervises the didactic activity, educational

approaches, teachers’ training, the quality of public service in education
