In exercise of powers conferred under Rule 29(ii) of the Tripura StatePollution Control Board (Prevention and Control of Water Pollution) Rules, 1989 (asamended by Third Amendment Rules, 2010) and Rule 8(2) of the Tripura State PollutionControl Board (Control of Air Pollution) Rules, 1989 (as amended by Third AmendmentRules, 2010), read with Section 25(2) of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution)Act, 1974 and Section 21 (2) of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981,the Government of Tripura in consultation with the General Body of the Tripura StatePollution Control Board (TSPCB), hereby revises Consent Fees Structure for “Consentto Establish" and “Consent to Operate" for all categories of industrial units, based on therevised criteria of categorization of industrial sectors viz. Red, Orange, Green 82 Whitecategories, as adopted by TSPCB vide its Notification No.F.17(33)! TSPCB!2016!2BBO-92 of dated 28th May, 2016.

2. Fees structure for Industries! Operation! Process! Activity for all categoriesof industries! units under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 andthe Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and the Tripura State PollutionControl Board (Prevention and Control of Water Pollution) Rules, 1989 & Tripura StatePollution Control Board (Control of Air Pollution) Rules, 1989, as amended from time totime, are at Annexure.

2.2 The Industries! Units covered under the WHITE category are herebyexempted from payment of Consent Fees.

3. The Consent Fees structure for Urban Local Bodies under the Water(Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Tripura State Pollution ControlBoard (Prevention and Control of Water Pollution) Rules, 1989, as amended from timeto time, shall remain unchanged as per the earlier Notification No.F.0(29)!DSTE!ENV/PT-U2237-44 dated 15!05!2010.

4. The revised Consent Fees structure shall come into force from immediateeffect.
