Report for the period from September 27, 2019 to December 5, 2019

1. Examinations: -

i) Internal: - a) The Test Examination for the boys of XII & X was held from 5.11.2019 to 15.11.2019. b) The Annual Examination for the boys of V to IX was held from 14.11.2019 to 23.11.2019.

ii) External: - a) SOF-International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) – 2019 organised by Science Olympiad

Foundation, IOA-International Science Olympiad (Level-1) – 2019 & International Math Kangaroo Exam - 2019 was held on 17 November, 2019. Selected 522, 599 & 520 Boys from V to IX appeared in these examinations respectively.

b) IAPT- National Standerd Examination – 2019 organised by Indian Association of Physics Teachers was held on 24 November 2019. 154 students from XI & XII appeared in this examination.

2. Cultural Programme:- a) Mahalaya was aired to the boys in the early morning in their Bhavanas and then Television

programme of the function was also enjoyed by the boys on 28th September, 2019.

b) Swami Akhandananda Jayanti was celebrated on 29th September, 2019 by offering pujas and distributing Prasad at noon. Special pujas were arranged. At noon ‘Prasad’ was served to all.

c) On 11th November, 2019, Swami Vijnanananda Jayanti was celebrated in the respective bhavana. A special puja was organised and the bhavana was beautifully decorated by the boys of class VIII. All partook Prasad in the noon.

d) Swami Premanananda Jayanti was celebrated on 5th December, 2019 by offering pujas and distributing Prasad at noon. Special pujas were arranged. At noon ‘Prasad’ was served to all.

3. Cultural Competition: - a) The Result of Story Telling Competition which was held on 24th October, 2019 was published

on 07.11.2019. Result : -

b) The Result of J.C. Das Memorial Inter-School Elocution Competition which was held on 27th July, 2019, was published in this time.

5. Educational Tour:- A two-day tour to Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan was organised for boys of class XII on 16th & 17th November, 2019.

6. Miscellaneous – a) The Vidyalaya including its office was closed for Puja Vacation from 03.10.2019 to 03.11.2019 b) The Admission Test for class V was held on 01.12.2019. This year, the number of boys appeared

was 1950. A meeting in connection with Admission Test of class V was held on 28.11.2019. The result of the written Examination will be published on 7th December, 2019.

c) A meeting of the Academic council was held on 07.11.2019 at Senior Section Teachers’ Common Room. A new routine committee and calendar committee were formed and several issues related to academic activities have been discussed.

d) The Result of Test Examination of class X & XII was published on 29.11.2019 & 05.12.2019 respectively.
