The Rosen Outdoor Sculpture Competition & Exhibition is a national juried competition presented annually by the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts and An Appalachian Summer Festival. Since its establishment in 1987, the competition continues a tradition of show- casing contemporary American sculpture in outdoor settings across Appalachian State University’s campus.
