Import and Export of ETABS file in STRUDSNew Feature

If you have ETABS file and it’s analysis file you can import the same in STRUDS.You can export STRUDS file in ETABS.

Provision in slab detailing New Feature

� In slab design parameters dialog box an option is given to decide slab detailing parameters with factors for top and bottom steel detailing.

Generation of pattern loading New Feature

� Under pattern loading the live loads are applied on alternate spans ALT1, ALT2, …. as well on two adjoining spans ADJ1, ADJ2…..

� Beam design is done for worst of all load combinations includingpattern loads, Earthquake loads and wind loads.

Provision in beam detailing

� In beam design parameters dialog

box an option is given to decide the

maximum layers of bars which will

be helpful in detailing of beam

reinforcement.

� In User defined detailing one option

to decide maximum bar length is

given which will be helpful in

deciding laps in detailing.

New Feature

For pattern loading by default the flag

is made on if you generate pattern

loads at Prepro.

Change in beam design dialog box when it fail in shear.

� In beam design when any beam fail

in shear that time option to change

size for all beams is given.

� In beam design, option for break

design is given.

Enhancement in column detailing New Feature

Parameters for maximum tie length and link spacing are given which will be helpful in column ties design and detailing.

Implementation of Strip footing. New Feature

In footing design parameters under combined footing option if the user selects the option of Rectangular with beam type then he will be able to design strip footing for number of columns.
