Functions of words

Nouns -are words used to name a person, place, ideas or things.

a) Common nouns- are names of things you can see, hear, taste, smell, or

touch. They do not begin with capital letters unless they are first words in a

sentence.

Examples

apple, boy , milk , arrow , book, cake , rainbow, etc.
