PHILIPPI BAPTIST CHURCH 327 Philippi Church Road, Union, SC 29379 “A Place For You” VISIT OUR WEBSITE: www.philippibaptistchurch.com RETURN SERVICE REQUESTED NONPROFIT U.S. POSTAGE PAID PERMIT NO. 115 UNION, SC 29379 What an incredible Home- coming Service we had on Sunday. The music was outstanding, the church was packed, the preaching was awesome, the food was finger licking good, and the fellowship was sweet. Bottom line, it was a little taste of what heaven is going to be like. As I sat back and thought about what made the day so successful, there was one word that kept coming to my mind, teamwork. On Wednesday night so many people stayed and helped set up. Sunday, all the choirs came together to sing, the pews were packed because you came and invited others. There was enough food to feed Union County because you brought it, and then at ten minutes after one, the FFC was ready for Wednesday because so many stayed to help. As I was leaving I heard the combined choirs of Jcrew and the Adults coming together to practice for the Christmas Musical. If we continue with that kind of teamwork and do it consistently, I truly believe we will see a mighty harvest of souls and disciples. There is a place for everybody that belongs to this body to get involved and be a part of our team. Let us all do our part no matter what area of service and see what the next 128 years has in store for Philippi. I hope you have a great week, and I look forward to seeing you on Sunday! GIFTS FOR GRANDS

Again this year, “Hospice Care” of SC asks you to please

bring items that the elderly can use, and put them in the box in the foyer. We wrap these gifts and give them to the ones that wouldn’t get anything or for the ones in the Nursing Homes. Items you can give: soaps, lotions, blankets, socks, sweat shirts/pants, powder, soft candy, shaving cream, razors, after shave, lipstick, nail polish, things for their rooms. These items will be picked up on Sunday, December 18th. Thank you and may God bless you!

!The Salvation Army is in

need of sponsors for their Angel Tree. Your support of this project will be greatly appreciated. See Pat or

Crystal to pick up an Angel Tree Card.
