Train The Tiler

The four day exclusive trade fair provides hands on training to masons and tilers in the art of laying tiles. This unique Tile Master training program is being conducted in a classroom format involving demonstration of various techniques and practice of applying

the tools. A special tool kit consisting of 33 items, with the major item sourced from Spain has been exclusively designed by Somany Ceramics Limited. The program also has a joint certification by CII / RIICO. The focus is on creating dignified and skilled manpower for the unorganized sector.

Enlisting experienced masons / tilers from in and around Jaipur this exceptional laboratory is set to raise the ordinary masons to the level of professionals and create awareness amongst them on the working of materials used in tile laying and its appropriate handling, creating a sense of ownership to reduce wastage and time. Through systematic development of skills through exposure to world class equipments, the Tile Master program has brought total solutions to tiling rather than the product itself. At the same time, the program provides for a better earning potential and high credibility with masons / tilers more articulate and efficient to meet the dynamic needs of today’s market.

This is a pioneering effort to bring expertise to normal masons with first ever certified training with modern equipments.

Industry Enthused“CeraGlass is the best thing to have come to Jaipur. Rajasthan

is a state which possess all the minerals required for glass and ceramic industry, but all the value additions were done outside the state. The investments made by Asahi Glass of Japan and Saint Gobain of France have proved that the state is an ideal destination,” said Vikram Golcha, Chairman, Golcha Industries.

Golcha, who owns ball clay mines in Bikaner, said he personally benefitted by participating in the exposition because this has given him an opportunity to speak to the people directly connected with industry.

“The exhibition is also catering to various segments like building, construction, interior designers architects, decorators,” he added.

Dileep Baid, an exporter of ceramics handicrafts also brought his team to show them innovations and development in the ceramic and glass world. “Our whole outlook changed after seeing the things exhibited. We have also learned how to enhance the skills of our craftsmen,” he said.

Gerhard Nieveelle of Verrieb Wistra GmbH said we have been flooded with inquiries from potential customers. For the first time through this exposition we have been able to meet all the potential customers under one roof, he said.

Rahul Gehlot of Saint Gobain said a number of people who are keen to build houses or commercial complexes have come to know the options available to them for using glass as part of the construction because of this exhibition.
