Layout Planner sheet

Specify the positioning of doors, windows and skylights on your GARDENSTAR to suit your needs

• Remember, you are drawing a plan view, that is “a birds eye view” looking down from on top of the unit you’re designing.

• On the planner grid the space between the lines represents one standard sheet width of 0.75m, and doors, windows and skylights are fitted in the spaces.

• Maximum width from front to back for the Flat Roof range is 1.5m, and for the Skillion Roof range is 1.8m.Sheds over this width have a Gable Roof.

As an example, this 3.0x3.0m Shed would be drawn on the Layout Planner Sheet as shown

• Sheds longer than 3.75m are Gable/Truss models, contructed by joining two appropriate size sheds end-to-end, leaving out internal gables walls. Doors and skylights must be positioned at least 0.75m sheet width from a joining point.

• Doors situated at the end of wall panels should be hinged on the side towards the centre of the panel.
