12th Asia-Oceania Symposium on Fire Science and Technology (AOSFST2021) CALL FOR ABSTRACTS This is the first call for abstracts for AOSFST2021, the 12th Asia-Oceania Symposium on Fire Science and Technology. The conference will be held in Brisbane, Australia, from Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 December 2021. Workshops will take place on Monday 6 December, and site visits/tours will happen on Friday 10 December. More information at aosfst2021.com AOSFST2021 will be hosted by the Fire Safety Engineering Research Group at The University of Queensland. The conference is organised in collaboration with Charles Darwin University, Griffith University, Monash University, Victoria University, The University of Melbourne, Queensland University of Technology, RMIT University, University of New South Wales, University of Canterbury, and Massey University. Call for abstracts You are invited to submit an extended abstract (up to two pages) describing recent innovative work in the field of fire safey engineering or science, aligned with the conference themes listed here. Abstract submission deadline is Friday 19 March 2021. Instructions for abstract submission can be found at at aosfst2021.com The content of extended abstracts will be the only acceptance criteria; therefore, please give sufficient information to allow the reviewers to judge the quality and innovative character of your work. Figures, tables, and references may be included in the extended abstract. Full papers of all accepted abstracts will be printed in the conference proceedings. Each registered delegate will only be allowed to deliver one oral presentation during the conference. Selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to be published in a special issue of Fire Safety Journal.
