Milo Cricket Cancellaon Due to Milo Cricket being postponed ll 2016., funds for this excursion will not be able to carry over into next year. If you had paid for the excursion and would like a refund or for the funds to be paid off outstanding fees please fill in the form that was sent out last week ,if you have not already done so, and return it to the office for processing. Once all notes are in ,the process for the funds can take place. As it is close to the end of the school financial year, it would be appreciated if you could get notes in ASAP to finalise the transacon. Thank you for your co operaon. School Staffing At this point in me, it is not yet clear for announcements to be made around staffing and the number of classes for 2016. At this point in me, we will either have two or three class teachers next year. When there is further clarity on this maer, informaon will be shared and communicated. I thank everyone for their paence and understanding around this issue. Playgroup visit On Monday 23rd November the Mulbring playgroup will be vising the school as part of an introducon to school. We will be singing songs and doing some other really fun acvies. Pre-School Visit On Tuesday December 1st, we have invited the Pre-Schoolers for a final visit. We will be hosng a small gathering with all the students, acknowledging our partnership with the Hunter Mobile Pre-School. All students will be given ice-blocks and Pre-Schoolers will be given a balloon to take home. Mini-Fete Please see the aached flyer. This fundraising day was a wonderful success. On behalf of Hannah and her family we sincerely thank each and every student and their families for their generosity and support. So far, the total is around $400.00 and sll increasing with extra donaons. Debang Gala Day As reported, last week , our Year 5 and Year 6 teams aended a Kurri Kurri Learning Community, Debang Gala Day, last Friday. We are pleased to report that both teams won their debates. Some of the adjudicator’s comments included; “ strong arguments, great speaking, and animaon”, “extremely well thought out” and “spoke loudly and clearly”. We are all very proud of Lucy, Sophia, Josh, Mikaylah, Grace, Andrea, Libby and Jayde. Thank You A sincere thanks to Kurri Kurri Bowling Club for their recent donaon of $500 towards the Year 6 Farewell Giſt for our school. This donaon is very generous and much appreciated by our students , staff and school community. Rainbow Day for Hannah!

This fundraising day was a wonderful success. On behalf of Hannah

and her family we sincerely thank each and every student and their

families for their generosity and support. So far, the total is around

$400.00 and still increasing with extra donations.

Debating Gala Day

As reported, last week , our Year 5 and Year 6 teams attended a Kurri

Kurri Learning Community, Debating Gala Day, last Friday. We are

pleased to report that both teams won their debates. Some of the

adjudicator’s comments included; “ strong arguments, great

speaking, and animation”, “extremely well thought out” and “spoke

loudly and clearly”. We are all very proud of Lucy, Sophia, Josh,

A sincere thanks to everyone who attended

Tuesday night’s special meeting. We would like to

extend a warm welcome to our newly appointed

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE:

It’s that time of year again! We are now taking

donations of non perishable items for our Christmas

Hamper Raffle. Items can be delivered to the

school office between now and the 8th December.

Raffle tickets will be coming home soon, with the

raffle drawn on Presentation Day.

Our next meeting will be held on Monday 7th

December at 6:30pm in the multi purpose room.
