Milo Cricket Cancellation
Due to Milo Cricket being postponed till 2016., funds for this excursion will not be able to carry over
into next year. If you had paid for the excursion and would like a refund or for the funds to be paid off
outstanding fees please fill in the form that was sent out last week ,if you have not already done so,
and return it to the office for processing.
Once all notes are in ,the process for the funds can take place. As it is close to the end of the school
financial year, it would be appreciated if you could get notes in ASAP to finalise the transaction. Thank
you for your co operation.
School Staffing
At this point in time, it is not yet clear for announcements to be made around staffing and the number
of classes for 2016. At this point in time, we will either have two or three class teachers next year.
When there is further clarity on this matter, information will be shared and communicated. I thank
everyone for their patience and understanding around this issue.
Playgroup visit
On Monday 23rd November the Mulbring playgroup will be visiting the school as part of an

This fundraising day was a wonderful success. On behalf of Hannah
and her family we sincerely thank each and every student and their
families for their generosity and support. So far, the total is around
$400.00 and still increasing with extra donations.
Debating Gala Day
As reported, last week , our Year 5 and Year 6 teams attended a Kurri
Kurri Learning Community, Debating Gala Day, last Friday. We are
pleased to report that both teams won their debates. Some of the
adjudicator’s comments included; “ strong arguments, great
speaking, and animation”, “extremely well thought out” and “spoke
loudly and clearly”. We are all very proud of Lucy, Sophia, Josh,
Mikaylah, Grace, Andrea, Libby and Jayde.
Thank You
A sincere thanks to Kurri Kurri Bowling Club for their recent donation
of $500 towards the Year 6 Farewell Gift for our school. This
donation is very generous and much appreciated by our students ,
staff and school community.
Remembrance Day
Our Captains and Vice-Captains, assisted by Jack and Mikaylah,
conducted our annual Remembrance Service on Wednesday. This
