The Company’s risk management framework, designed to bringrobustness to the risk management processes in the Company,addresses risks intrinsic to operations, financials and compliancesarisingoutoftheoverallstrategyoftheCompany.
Managementofrisksvestswiththeexecutivemanagementwhichisresponsiblefortheday-to-dayconductoftheaffairsoftheCompany.TheInternalAuditDepartmentofITCLimitedperiodicallycarriesout,attherequestoftheCompany,riskfocusedauditswiththeobjectiveof identifying areas where risk management processes could bestrengthened. (a) According to the information and explanations given to us andthe records of the Company examined by us, in our opinion, theCompany is regular in depositing the undisputed statutory duesincluding provident fund, employees’ state insurance, income-tax,sales-tax,servicetax,dutyofcustoms,dutyofexcise,valueaddedtax,cessandanyotherstatutorydues,withtheappropriateauthorities.
(b) According to the informationandexplanationsgiven tousand therecordsoftheCompanyexaminedbyus,therearenoduesofincometaxorsalestaxorservicetaxordutyofcustomsordutyofexciseorvalueaddedtaxwhichhavenotbeendepositedonaccountofanydispute.
