According to the data from EU SILC 2011 was by the risk of poverty jeopardized 13% of Slovak habitants, that is around 700 000 persons. In comparison to antecedent year it was higher of 1 percentual point. The limit of boundary was according to the last data 3 784 EUR per year, it means for single-person household 315 EUR per month. Interannual growth of the poverty limit in year 2011 with comparison of year 2010 was 3% (in absolute expression 10 EUR per month.
