“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”- 2 Timothy 3:16

The King James VersionThe King James VersionAS Bible-believing Christians, we believe that the words of the King James Authorized Version are the pure and preserved words of God. It is also that this book version is indeed the appointed book to be read in churches, in particular of the saved faith.

Page 4: 2010 02 07 03 May Alam Ako Sa Bible!

The King James VersionThe King James VersionBut to some, they see the KJV as an archaic, old, dilapidated and outdated book that should be disposed. They would even argue with you and take delight in ridiculing and intimidating KJV believers. But with a good knowledge and information based on FACT, we as Christians can be victors on defending God’s preserved Word.

1. God promised to preserve his words (Psalms 12:6-7; Matt 24:35.)

Kung hindi din, e di wag na tayong maniwala!Kung hindi din, e di wag na tayong maniwala!

Page 7: 2010 02 07 03 May Alam Ako Sa Bible!

2. It has no copyright. The text of the KJV may be reproduced by anyone for there is no copyright forbidding its duplication. This is not true with modern perversions.

Huwag pagkakitaan ang salita ng dios!Huwag pagkakitaan ang salita ng dios!

Page 8: 2010 02 07 03 May Alam Ako Sa Bible!

3. The KJV produces good fruit (Mat 7:17-20). For more than 400 years, no version has ever bought millions of souls to Christ. Present “Christians” might favor the new versions, but the Holy Spirit doesn’t.

Isa ka ba duon?Isa ka ba duon?

Page 9: 2010 02 07 03 May Alam Ako Sa Bible!

4. All new translations compare themselves to the KJV. Isn’t it strange that the new versions don’t compare themselves to other books? I wonder why? Try Matthew 12:26

Uy, bakit kaya?Uy, bakit kaya?

Page 10: 2010 02 07 03 May Alam Ako Sa Bible!

San ka pa!!!San ka pa!!!

5. KJV is supported by far more evidence. Of over 5,300 pieces of manuscript evidence, 95% supports the King James Bible!!!

Page 11: 2010 02 07 03 May Alam Ako Sa Bible!

Yan ang honest!Yan ang honest!

6. The KJV translators (46 of them) were honest in their work. When translators had to add certain words, largely due to idiom changes, they placed the added words in italics so we’d know the difference. This isn’t the case with the new translations.

Page 12: 2010 02 07 03 May Alam Ako Sa Bible!

Yan ang orig!Yan ang orig!

7. KJV translators believed they were handling the very words of God (I Thessalonians 2:13). Just read the King James dedicatory and you will find the honesty and glory in their work, in comparison to the other versions.

Page 13: 2010 02 07 03 May Alam Ako Sa Bible!

AMEN!AMEN!

8. The KJV exalts the Lord Jesus Christ. The true scriptures should testify of Jesus Christ (I John 5:39). There is no book on this planet, which exalts Christ higher than the King James Bible. In numerous places the new perversions attack the deity of Christ, the blood atonement, resurrection, salvation by Grace through faith, and the second coming. The true Scriptures will TESTIFY of Jesus Christ, not ATTACK Him!
