To Our Family and Friends,
This is our 30th year in business. And al-though we’re very proud of this mile-stone, it happens to be bitter sweet for us, as it marks the end of a very big era. After dedicating 25 years to Leemar, the past six of which she has been the owner; Debbie Grudzinski has passed the company down to me. Sadly, this transition happened to come in the same year as the passing of my grandparents, founders, Mi-chael and Leona Hrehovcik. It’s been said, “When an elder dies, a library burns.” Our heritage is the only link we have between our past and our future.
My grandparents started Leemar in 1981 to preserve the traditions that they loved. I give you this catalog in memory of them, my Baba and Dzedo.
It is because of their devotion to their heri-tage that my siblings, cousins and I know
who we are and where we came from. With sincere gratitude I am honored
to carry on the legacy of generations before me in celebrating the tradi-tions and beauty of our culture. From my family to yours, I wish you happi-ness and love.
