11:15 a.m. – 12:35 p.m. Lunch and Keynote Sustaining a Winning Conversation FirstEnergy Auditorium, Rm. 340 The advent of social media over the past ten years is no longer new. Through the corporate adoption phase, we've seen winners come and go, but few organizations have had staying power. Here's a look at five players -- LinkedIn, Dell, Care2, the Humane Society of the United States and Wiser Earth -- that have maintained their presence through blogging, crowdsourcing, social networks, apps, and now mobilization. While completely different in scope and scale, all five have remarkable similarities in how they have stayed relevant over the years. Whether it was continuing to adapt to the community’s changing technology needs, a relentless focus on mission, or empowering access and information exchange through larger networks, these social networks and communities have done what was necessary to survive and prosper.

Because, after all, at the end of the day, we’re all consumers. Presented by: Akhia Public Relations and Marketing Communications
