The Eilidh Brown Memorial Concert
A night to remember, celebrate and pay tribute to Eilidh Brown - a beautifulgirl who must never be forgotten. Get ready for an exceptional eveningbringing together some of Scotlandʼs finest talent, including headlinersJon Fratelli (The Fratellis and Codeine Velvet Club) and Billy Boyd (LordOf The Rings), alongside Mark Cox and Jane McGarry of Still Game, withtheir very own brand of humour. A bunch of other well-known faces willguarantee an evening full of entertainment, all doing their best to raisemoney for The Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund, set up by Eilidhʼs family in hermemory and helping young people suffering from cancer. The family nowhope to raise enough money to buy or build respite accommodation in theStirling area for families touched by cancer, and you can do your bit withbuying a ticket to join us for this one-off celebration, closed by a free afterparty with DJs in the macrobert foyer.

Road Show
Safe Drive Stay AliveYoung inexperienced motorists are at the highest risk of serious roadaccidents. Safe Drive Stay Alive is a hard-hitting road show aimed atsteering school children away from taking risks behind the wheel in aneffort to persuade teens to be careful. The event includes accounts fromreal-life victims as well as staff from the emergency services and NHSwho give the audience a fact-based account of what part they play inserious road collisions. A free but ticketed event, so please get yourtickets in advance.

Schools from throughout Stirling take part in this exiting initiative. Volunteersfrom each school are trained and supported by the Active Stirling team tocreate a dance in collaboration with the pupils. This performance is theculmination of this dynamic project.

Forth Valley Schools DanceCompetitionMore than 500 pupils from across Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshirewill take to the stage to compete in the fourth annual Forth Valley SchoolsDance Competition, with the junior dancers (S1-S3) dazzling audiencesand judges with their creative choreography on 14 March, and the seniordancers (S4-S6) setting the stage alight with their polished performanceson 15 March. An affectionate paean to small-town USA, a long gone era, MeredithWillsonʼs The Music Man follows fast-talking travelling salesman HaroldHill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments anduniforms for a boysʼ band he vows to organize, despite not being able todifferentiate a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with thecash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms himinto a respectable citizen by curtainʼs fall. This award-winning andcritically acclaimed Broadway classic is an all-American institution withquirky characters, charmingly predictable dramatic situations, and anostalgic score of rousing marches, barbershop quartets and sentimentalballads that have become popular standards.

A Night in ScotlandThe Alexander Brothers, Alistair McDonald and The Graham Laurie Orchestra
Combining traditional Scottish music, folk and jazz, light classical andmusic from film and television - this night with a spectacular line up hasit all. The Alexander Brothers, who recently celebrated 52 years in showbusiness, have a long line of accolades to their name, from co-hostingproductions of the London Palladium Show with Shirley Bassey in 1967to their records outselling the Beatles in Scotland in the early 60s. Havingtoured all over the world Alistair MacDonald, a well-known folk singingjazz banjo/guitar player, is probably best known for his recording of TheBarras and The Massacre of Glencoe. The Graham Laurie PaisleyAccordion Orchestra are undisputed UK accordion champions for thepast 15 years, a must hear twisting traditional Scottish music with lightclassical music.
