Top Prius Advantages Over Volt
Volt is Chevrolet’s version of a plug-in hybrid. For a new car, it had an unusually long and public development cycle. The car was first previewed as an auto-show concept in 2007 and made repeated appearances as development continued, leading up to its retail launch in December 2010. From both image and political standpoints, GM has a lot riding on the success of this car.
For sure, some Prius shoppers will look at Volt, and vice versa. Because of that, it’s important for sales associates to know the very real day-in, day-out advantages Prius offers. Studying the information in this Edge is a great way to learn those advantages.

hyBrid synergy driVe Toyota Prius is as easy to own and drive as a conventional gas-engined car. •no plug required

•Five-minute fill-up Volt has to go down for four to eight hours for a full recharge. Prius can refill in about five minutes at a corner gas station.
inTeriOr rOOM Volt looks like a large car from the outside, but inside is another story. Prius’ clever packaging means more room for passengers to get comfortable. •More leg and head room
Anywhere one sits in Prius, there’s more leg and head room than in Volt.
•Five-passenger seating It may not be obvious from the outside, but Volt can seat only four people. Prius is a true five-seater.
