System z Capacity Offering for Cloud offers clients the ability to rebalance a portion of their incremental MIPS growth between servers for up to 12 months. This offering allows our clients to buy capacity that they can re-allocate amongst servers during the first 12 months after initial purchase. Up to 50 percent of the growth MIPS they purchase can be re-allocated
System z Disaster Recovery Offering for Cloud provides clients the ability to move workload between production and disaster recovery servers. This offering removes obstacles and overhead for testing disaster recovery capabilities and allows customers to more easily comply to the most stringent business continuity regulatory requirements. Clients that elect to participate can fail over and then run production in their DR facilities for up to 60 days, up to four times in a year.
