Welcome! We’re very glad you’re here! BIRTHDAYS FOR APRIL HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Phil Ruston - 7 Joh Remeins - 25 Judy Miller - 8 Michael Skellon - 25 Carleen Thomas - 10 Eli Carter - 29 Please pray for the WHAC Pastoral Search Committee as they begin looking for both an interim and a long term pastor. Pray for the whole team to be unified in what they are looking for, that they be given wisdom from the Lord through this whole process, and that the right candidates for both positions would become very obvious to all. Please pray for our congregation and leadership as we walk into this important time of transition at WHAC. Please pray that the Lord would bring an increasing measure of peace and joy and love and harmony in all of our homes. Praise the Lord for a successful “Seven Signs to God” study last Saturday in Mali. The students expressed interest in Jesus’ sacrifice for sin and requested more information. Six of the seven students purchased Bibles and were eagerly reading each passage during the study. Pray that God will continue to work in their hearts. If you would like to pray with an Elder, we encourage you to make yourself known to one of the Worship Team and they will assist you. COMMUNION 18 May - Barry

Are you new to this facility?

We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that:

The toilets are located down the passage to the right as you exit the sanctuary.

Our Children's Ministry - for both Preschoolers and 5-13 year olds - begins part way through the service. A notice will appear on the screen when it is time to send the children out.

Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat.

salm 1

Blessed is the man who walks not in

the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

but his delight is in the law of the

Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of

water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

The wicked are not so, but are like

chaff that the wind drives away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in

the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

for the Lord knows the way of the

righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

News, Events & Announcements Doing Life Together

The Christian walk is filled with so much more joy as we share it together. We truly need each other's gifts and abilities, inspiration, intelligence, wisdom and time. Plan to join us in any or all of the following:

GLOBAL FUSION MOTHERS DAY AT WHACK GIRL’S NIGHT AT THE

MCKEANS

Thank you to everybody who came out to support Global Fusion last night at Blockhouse Bay Community Church! As an alliance of churches, we truly value the work of International Missions, and your added support in helping these ministries to thrive is greatly appreciated. Hebrews 6:10 - God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Mothers' day is just around the corner, and as usual, we have a special service planned for that Sunday 12 May. So, invite your whole family to come along for beautiful family photos, a special morning tea and service as we tell the mums in our lives that they are loved!

Ladies, plan to join some of the women from the church on 12 May from 7.30pm at the McKeans home (7 McKean Road) for an evening filled with... each other! Feel free to bring a small plate and a friend along as well!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
