Our name was chosen because we believe human beings have always searched for meaning in life.We consider that the true north is inside each one of us.
The integration between the sexes is of great importance, in order to take full advantage of the talents of both men and women.
NAME:International ForumWoman True North
OBJECTIVESThe coparticipation of men and women in the twenty first century and the construction of new learning schemes, motivating women´s autonomy for meeting everyday challenges.
To generate through knowledge and education equal opportunities with growth perspectives in all areas for men and women, from childhood to old age.
This forum will create and promote networks of people related to all areas of knowledge that will contribute enriching what men and women are doing. It will also be a resource for information, courses and events to enrich future forums.
This is a socially responsible event, since part of the income will be donated to social assistance institutions of León, Guanajuato, with which “Global True North” is currently working, like:Fundación Trinitate Philarmonia, Imagina, Ecos, Casas Hogar Loyola, Fundación Plaza mayor, Fundación Mgas, Mujeres apoyando Mujeres, Vibra León, Edujoyas and Fundación León.

BASIC IDEA:An international event, with speakers and participants from all over the world.
We are expecting 3,000 participants as a goal for this first event. The dates are: February 25, 26 and 27, 2015.
León, Guanajuato as headquarters, is considered one of the best places in the country to organize large scale events, as it has the necessary touristic infraestructure required to host this forum: The Poliforum, a place with more than 45,000 m2 for events and more than 4,000 hotel rooms in 4 star and above-rated establishments.
We highlight as well the commitment from the government at all levels in the actions related to this forum.
The event is addressed to CEO´s, entrepreneurs and decision makers and all people interested in the subjects of the forum.

Angela Dorothea Merkel. Scientist and German politician who has been the Chancellor in her country since 2005.
Emma Watson. Actress and model, with a degree in British Literature, knowned for acting in Harry Potter films. Current ambassador to the UNESCO.
Bill Gates. Businessman, software expert and philanthropist. Co-founder of Microsoft.
SPEAKERS TO COFIRM:
Global True North was founded by Lucila Padilla. She has dedicated herself, for more than 15 years, to developing talents and to potentialize all aspects of men and women interests and activities, encouraging collaboration, joining efforts, creating alliances and business networks and giving social support. She works hand by hand with Maria Luisa Bringas, architect, dedicated to organizing, conceptualizing and coordinating events.
We receive the support of vaious institutions like Coparmex, Cámara de Comercio México-US, AMMJE, Factor Wow, Iconus Eventos México, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Universidad La Salle, Orquesta Infantil y Juvenil del Centro Fox and La Procuraduría de los Derechos Humanos del Estado de Guanajuato, just to mention a few.
