Best Summer Ever at the YMCA!

There’s nothing like summer at the Geneva Lakes YMCA. Summer 2015 promises to be extraordinary as we roll out our new YMCA Summer Day Camp for kids ages 4-12 and our new Leaders in Training program for teens ages 13-15 (see pages 10-11 for details). Additionally, we’re anticipating record participation in our youth t-ball/ baseball/softball programs, and we added a new tournament team for those looking for a higher level of competition. We’re very grateful to the Lake Geneva Jaycees for their generous $6,600 donation that enabled us to purchase pitching machines to enhance our ball programs and buy new helmets and bats. We’re continuing to make upgrades to our facility and equipment as part of our ongoing effort to deliver an incredible Y experience to our members and guests. And remember, fitness classes are now FREE for Y members! You can soon look forward to seeing new treadmills, bikes and ellipticals in the wellness center, and we’ll be installing a UV disinfection system in our aquatic center later this year as part of a new Healthy Air for Healthy Families campaign. You know that “chlorine smell” you catch a whiff of when you’re in our building? This new equipment will eliminate that and improve the air/water quality in our aquatic center, open up new fitness/recreational opportunities for chlorine sensitive individuals, and improve the comfort and health of the thousands of people who use our Y. If you’re interested in supporting this campaign with a financial donation to help the Y offset the cost of this environmentally-friendly equipment, please contact Mike Kramp at 262-248-6211 or [email protected]. Corporate sponsorship packages are available. Thank you for your continued support of the YMCA and our community. We wish you and your family a wonderful, healthy summer!

- Jeremy Kinsey, President & Chief Volunteer Officer – YMCA Board of Directors

1-on-1 TRAINING Personal training is not just for injury recovery, though we can certainly help with that. Our certified trainers will work with you to design a specialized workout to help you achieve your fitness goals. PARTNER TRAINING Get fit with a friend! One of the best ways to stick to a program is to have someone hold you accountable & provide encouragement. Grab a buddy & we’ll add the expert to design workouts to meet both of your needs. PRIVATE GROUP TRAINING Working out with a small group of 3-4 friends has numerous benefits! It’s fun, it’s affordable, & each person gets personalized attention. Whether you’re interested in general conditioning, building strength, reducing fat, or improving athletic performance, our Y trainers will create a customized program for all of you.

Personal Training Let the Y’s team of personal trainers use their specialized training & expertise to create a program designed to help you meet your unique fitness goals. Workouts may include cardio &/or strength exercises & use of equipment like BOSUs, fitballs, kettlebells, TRX & more.
