Have you ever noticed a case where a girl , despite having myopic family & a lot more hindrance in her way still sees herself in a position of well reputed teacher?

Yes, it was the dream of Rita Makwana who scored 76% in SSC board exams. She was then said to leave her studies as it was not her family tradition but Rita never lost hope. She had shown strong willingness to study further to her parents & support from Bachhpan gave her oppurtunity. The parents then agreed & she took science stream for higher secondary education. It was very diffi cult for her to maintain her position in science. Despite having unclear concepts, she secured 53% in science. Once

again age-old tradition tried to stop her way but as always, she found her way out. She is truly motivating person for her two younger brothers. Then she took admission in V P Science College for her Bachelor degree. She managed to complete her B.Sc. with 7.11 CGPA.

She also takes interest in Garba, competitive exams like gandhi jivan zankhi, Indian culture knowledge exams etc. The moment she got placed in Knowledge high school-Nadiad as a teacher was the happiest moment for herself as well as for her parents. The efforts given by volunteers to reach to this level have been proved by her.

On 15 August, 2017 she was honoured as Most Educated Daughter of school block by Sajna Talavdi Primary School, Karamsad. Along with academic activities, she also takes interest in kutchi embroidery.She makes decorative posters from embroidery.

She is true motivation for other girls. She always fi nd her way out in any diffi cult situation. She is one of the brightest student of Bachhpan.

Gyan Sathe Gammat

Ms. Aarti Gohil Vaishnav (CEO, EXXAT,LLC), her colleague Ms. Mayuri Wagle Gohil and their team from Pune visited Ramkrishna Paathshalas on July 14, 2017.They donated black boards,

school bags and carpet rolls to Bachhpan and distributed snacks to all the students. They interacted with the students and blessed them for their future.

Learning is the acquisition of knowledge through experience and education. Children learn as they play.With the same intention, we had organized 2 days event named Gyaan Sathe Gammat.The event was organized and managed by girls volunteers of Bachhpan.The event started with prayer then all students were divided into groups. Different activities were played for students of each age group. During these activities we observed curiosity to learn in these innocent eyes.Students have enthusiastically

participated in all activities and learned wholeheartedly.At the end of the event, Prizes were distributed to the students

Rakshabandhan Celebrationinnovative ideas of students and improve importance of bond of love between brother and sister. Thereafter, girls tied rakhi to boys. Students had also showcased enthusiasm and creativity in drawing of rakhi and essay writing competition.

At last, Gifts were distributed to enhance this sweet moment.This event have established roots of new relation in mind of innocent kids.

Dadhichi Paathshala at AhmedabadCurrently Bachhpan is active in

Vallabh Vidhyanagar-Anand and Ahmedabad. One paathshala is successfully bringing Change in Ahmedabad, but with the help of 15 regular volunteers, We have started a new Paathshala at Municipal Quarter Hall, Near Gulbai Tekra, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. Currently 55 students are studying at Dadhichi Paathshala.

College and Mr. Sudhir Vegad, HOD of Computer Department of ADIT College distributed toys to children of Valmiki Paathshala.
