INITIO ACADEMY
2019
DEAR CONSULTANT,We are excited to present you the 2019 Initio training catalog. Based on your feedback given during the trainings we offered in 2018, and an in-depth analysis of market trends, we have enriched the training offer with several new internal and external trainings. Our “Initio Academy 2019” training program is built in line with the positioning of the company: International, Innovative & Specialised.
International – several new internationally recognized trainings & certifi cations have been added in 2019 – such as the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) and the CAMS (Certifi ed Anti-Money Laundering Specialist). In addition we continue to send people across sites to the appropriate training location and this allows interesting interactions between colleagues from Luxembourg, Belgium and France
Innovative – within the different business lines of Initio, we keep track of major market trends and as a result of these efforts several new
trainings have been added. If you want to be ready for future disruptions in the banking & insurance sector, you can prepare yourself by doing the Blockchain for Business and a more in-depth Blockchain specialisation course for example.
Specialised – we’re quite proud that our employees can really go quite deep into specifi c areas of the fi nancial sector by offering a broad range of certifying trainings – CFA, FRM, CAIA, CAMS and this complemented by a growing list of specialised focus trainings – such as User Stories, Derivatives, Robo-Advice and several others.
We trust that consultants of all grades will discover trainings in line with their career development & interests!
Happy training!

AGILE PRODUCT OWNER CERTIFICATION
Scrum is a simple management tool that teaches teams to become more effi cient in time. Unlike old school methods which detect delays too late in the project duration, Scrum methodology proposes to visualise estimates at the beginning of the projects, and allow to optimise the Business Value in real time. Therefore, it unables you to optimise your Clients return on investment (ROI) at any point of time in the project duration, and to modify the project features or to end it prematurely.
In Agile methodology, the Product Owner is the cornerstone of the project. It unables to make the bridge between the company objectives, the users and the project team needs.
The Agile Product Owner Certifi cation training course issues Scrum tools and concepts in relation to the role of Product Owner.

The PRINCE2® method (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) has a history of nearly 30 years. After years of evolution, the purpose of this new standard is to be able to apply to all types of projects, and not only to projects concerning information technologies. PRINCE2® is a structured and pragmatic method for the effi cient management of your projects. It is a process-based approach to project management that offers an easily adaptable and scalable method for managing all types of projects. It is used and recognized internationally as a best practice and has become a de-facto standard for organizing, managing and controlling all types of projects. This method splits the project into phases, providing effective resource control and a better response and adaptability to changes. It is «product-based», which means that project planning focuses on delivery of results, not just on carrying out activities. The PRINCE2® method is guided by the business case that describes the rational justifi cation and benefi ts of the project for the company. It is revised during the project to ensure that the Objectives remain appropriate and will be achieved. This method also provides a common language throughout the project and milestones in a contractual framework.
