Day 3 focuses on developing a strategy for evaluating and/or engaging with India and different models of operation. Understanding Indian culture, cross-cultural communication is discussed with the afternoon an optional cultural activity in the city.

10:00 Cross cultural negotiation & doing business in India. This workshop will explain key concepts in Indian culture and the implications for communication, negotiation, people management and doing business in India. The ways in which culture influences everyday business dealings, negotiation and relationships is covered.

11:00 Build your India Strategy. This workshop session provides a structure for participants to evaluate their India options and build a roadmap for further evaluation or engagement. The session will prepare participants to make the most of the Day 4 Summit, where they will meet 100+ education leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and policy-makers operating in the Indian market. Whether you’re considering entering the market, identifying partners or ‘suppliers’, this session will provide clarity of purpose and next steps.

Day 5 provides the opportunity to visit a K12 school and meet and engage with teachers and students. Participants will see and hear about the realities of educating 260m+ children, as well as the possibilities offered by innovation and technology. Early stage education entrepreneurs will describe how they are visioning the future and solving tomorrow’s key challenges.

Experience an Indian K12 school and meet teachers, students and school leaders. Hear about learning and teaching innovations and initiatives that are supporting educational outcomes as well as the challenges in K12 education in India.

11:00 Education Entrepreneurship in India – Insights from on the ground

Hear from entrepreneurs in India about what it takes to succeed in one of the world’s largest and fastest growing education and technology markets. This future-focused session provides participants the opportunity to engage with those earlier stage companies who will be delivering education solutions for India’s future learners. Hear about the pain points they are solving and unique responses to enormous challenges.

12:00 Working Lunch

Over lunch, the group will debrief the week’s activities and tie back to the strategy session earlier in the week. This is an opportunity to ask questions of faculty and discuss in-market follow up opportunities.

13:30 Program Wrap-up & Evaluation
