Would God ask a family to move from a small town in Minnesota, leave a thriving ministry, and go plant a church in a spiritually dark place? Yes! Keith and

Kristine Carpenter and their family moved from Minnesota to the Aurora Corridor in North Seattle to plant Epic Life Church in the city on North Aurora Avenue.

This corridor encompasses communities of many ethnic backgrounds, lower income pockets, homeless men and women, underdeveloped businesses, “adult” areas, multiple apartment complexes, and high crime areas with no child friendly or family friendly environment whatsoever.

Keith, his wife Kristine, and their four sons, Konnor, Kaden, Kody, and Kaleb, have been sowing the good news of Jesus in the neighborhood of 105th and Aurora, where the Lord prompted Keith one morning to follow Him. As a result of praying for supernatural direction and guidance, the Lord provided a church facility for them free of charge, and today, they own the property.

Neighboring businesses that were once hostile or apathetic have become grateful for the light and truth that are touching lives in an area where the police find dead bodies of individuals destroyed by darkness. Epic Life Church is striving to consistently introduce people to Christ in their communities and homes in different and tangible ways. Please join First Dallas Missions Ministry as we pray for and support Epic Life Church. Our First Dallas student choir ministry will serve there during the week of spring break, March 8-14.

Please pray for Epic Life Church, the Carpenter family, and a second new church plant in downtown Seattle, situated in another of the most dangerous and dark areas in the entire city. For more information, please go to www.Epiclifechurch.org, or www.keithcarpenter.wordpress.com.

    METRO MISSIONS

    Meet the Carpenter Family

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to

proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to

proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19, NASB
