Murari Chaturvedi, The man with a mission, started his journey with founding Accommodation Times in 1986, instituted National Real Estate Annual Awards for recognizing excellence in various fields of Real Estate

8th Annual Award Anniversary function held on 6th April 1994 at West Terrace, Nehru Centre. Sponsored by Hiranandani Constructions. Chief Guest : Mr. Arun Gujrathi, Housing Minister, Govt. of Maharashtra.

History of Accommodation Times Awards9th Annual Award Anniversary function held on 14th April 1995 at Harbour Hall, Juhu Centaur. Sponsored by Valecha Builders. Chief Guest : Shri Babubhai Majethia, Founder President of Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry.

10th Annual Award Anniversary function held on 18th April 1996 at Nehru Auditorium, Nehru Centre, Worli. Sponsored by Khaleej Times : Dubai, Suman Motels Ltd., and Sampada Homes & Developers Ltd. Chief Guest : Shri G.L.Raheja. To mark the celebration an exhibition of four days was also organised where leading builders and developers had participated at the same venue. On 17th April 1996 an all India Housing Convention was also organised for full day at the same venue. The major speaker were Mr. Hiranandani , Mr. Jamshed Kanga : Tata Housing, Mr. K.V. Satyamurthy, Mr. K. Nalinakshan : Former Secretary, Urban Development Government of Maharashtra, Mr. Deepak Satwalkar : MD HDFC, Mr. Ross Piggot : Dubai World Trade Centre, Mr. V. Nagrajan : Dubai Consultant, Mr. Dinesh Chandiok : Richard Ellis, Ms. Shukla Bose : RCI and others.

History of Accommodation Times Awards11 th Annual Award Anniversary held on 30th April 1997 at MIG Cricket Club, Sponsored by Kitec Industries (India) Ltd. and Suman Motels. Chief Guest Mr. Raj Purohit, Minister for Housing Government of Maharashtra. An exhibition was also organised at the Harbour Hall for three days where leading builders like Hiranandani Construction, Unitech Ltd., Sheth Builders, CIDCO and others had participated. The exhibition was also organised by the Kitec Industries.

12th Annual Award Anniversary function held on 24th April 1998 at Hotel Rang Sharda, Bandra. Sponsored by Snowcem India Ltd., Suman Motels Ltd. Chief Guest : Mr. Suresh Jain, Housing Minister, Government of Maharashtra.

13th Annual Award Anniversary function held on 8th May 1999 at The Regent, Bandra. The Chief Guest of the function was Shri A.P. Sinha, Vice Chairman Managing Director, CIDCO. The function was sponsored by Lokhandwala Group. In all 18 awards were presented for the excellence in different categories of real estate industry.

The function was sponsored by Sintex and Bisazza. All awards were presented for the excellence in different categories of real estate industry

15th Annual Award Anniversary function held on 21st April 2001 at Hotel Kohinoor, Andheri (East). The Chief Guest of the function was Prof. Javed Khan, Chairman, CIDCO. Guest of Honour was Shri K.C. Srivastava, Municipal Commissioner Brihan Mumbai Mahanagarpalika. The function was sponsored by , BSES Ltd., BSES TeleCom Ltd. and Abrol Group. In all 18 awards were presented for the excellence in different categories of realestate industry.
