1. ELIGIBILTY: Open to all members of the United States Bowling Congress. Entrants must show current USBC membership card ormust pay current USBC dues for an unattached membership prior to bowling. Not more than two (2) professional members maybowl on any five (5) member team and not more than one (1) professional member may bowl in doubles. Senior Events for bowlersage 55 and over.
2. MULTIPLE PARTICIPANTS: Bowlers may bowl in no more than three (3) SINGLES & DOUBLES events but may not cash morethan once with the same doubles partner or more than once in singles. Bowlers may bowl UNLIMITED TEAM events, but NOTMORE THAN THREE (3) MEMBERS ON THE SAME TEAM CAN CASH MORE THAN ONCE IN THE PRIZE LIST FORPOSITION STANDINGS. Bowler’s first appearance in each event shall count toward ALL-EVENTS score.
3. PARTICIPATION: Bowlers must enter both SINGLES & DOUBLES events to enter in either. Entry in just one, either SINGLES orDOUBLES, is not permitted.
4. SCHEDULING: Entries will be scheduled based on postmark order. Entries must list three (3) preferences for times and dates.
5. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Entry closing date is May 1, 2019. NO EXTENSIONS. All entries postmarked the first post office dayafter the entry closing date will be accepted. Additional entries for any event will not be accepted after that date. All entry fees mustaccompany the entry form.
6. ENTRY FEE: Entry fee is $25.00 per bowler per event. Entry forms received without ALL entry fees WILL BE RETURNED. Allprize funds returned 100%.
7. OPTIONAL EVENTS: The following Optional Events are available: Team, Doubles, Singles Scratch, All Events Handicap and AllEvents Scratch for $10 each. Senior Singles Handicap and Senior All Events Handicap are $10 each. Scratch and Senior eventscan ONLY be entered if the participant is entered in the handicap event.
8. DIVISION: All Handicap events will be divided into 2 divisions based on the following average totals: (Team: Div A – 901 andabove, Div B – 900 and below) – (Doubles: Div A – 361 and above, Div B – 360 and below) – (Singles & ALL Events: Div A –181and above, Div B – 180 and below).
9. REFUND: There will be NO REFUND, team or individual after closing date and schedule dates have been assigned.
10.PRIZE REPORTING: Any bowler who has qualified for cash and/or merchandise prize of $300 or more in any event, $500 ormore in any one tournament, or $1000 or more in all tournaments in the position standings prize list of a tournament within theprevious 12 months must report their actual score, position, and amount won to tournament manager prior to bowling for possiblere-rating. Such re-rating must be accomplished before the entrant bowls, and if not accepted; the entry fee shall be refunded.Failure to comply with these provisions shall be cause for forfeit of entry fee and prize winnings. (See USBC rule 319d.)
11.ENTERING AVERAGE: The bowler’s highest 2017-2018 single-league average 21 games or more in a CERTIFIED LEAGUE. Ifbowler does not have a 2017-2018 average, use highest as of May 1, 2019 for 21 or more games. Sport/Challenge leaguebowler’s average will be adjusted by Tournament based on USBC Sport/Challenge Average Adjustment Chart. All others will bowlscratch. Averages other than published averages must have WRITTEN verification SIGNED BY league secretary or associationmanager. (USBC RULE 319a1 & 319b)(USBC RULE 319a2 “Ten Pin Rule” does not apply).
12.AVERAGE ADJUSTMENT: USBC Rule 319e “AVERAGE ADJUSTMENT FOR ENTRY” will apply.
13.AVERAGE VERIFICATION: Average of winners will be verified prior to issuing prize monies.
14.HANDICAP: Handicap will be 90% of the difference between the bowlers entering average and 230.
15.CHECK IN TIME: One (1) hour prior to scheduled squad time.
16. REPLACEMENTS: Team Captains may make replacements by reporting such replacements to tournament office at least 45minutes prior to the scheduled bowling time. ALL-EVENTS entry may be transferred ONLY IF THE TRANSFER IS MADE BEFOREEITHER OF THE BOWLERS HAS PARTICIPATED IN ANY OF THE TOURNAMENT.
17. ORDER OF BOWLING: Teams will bowl in the order submitted on the entry form. Only the tournament manager may grantexceptions.
18.BOWLERS RESPONSIBILITY: Bowlers are responsible for verifying their own average, whether submitted by the bowler, theteam captain or others. If the submitted average is lower than required and results in more handicap, the bowlers score will bedisqualified. If the submitted average is higher than required, prize winnings will be based on the submitted average. NOAVERAGE WILL BE VERIFIED BY TOURNAMENT OFFICALS PRIOR TO BOWLING.
19. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: Prize money will be distributed at a ratio of at least one (1) for every eight (8) entries in TEAM, SINGLES& DOUBLES events. Ratio for ALL-EVENTS will be one (1) for every ten (10) entries. Trophies or plaques will be awarded to bothScratch and Handicap winners in each event.
20.OFFICIAL SCORE: The computer printout or tele-score will be the official score.
21. TARDY BOWLERS: Bowlers who miss one or more frames by not being present and ready to bowl when it is their turn, shall becredited with zero (0) pins for those frames missed.
22. PARENTAL CONSENT: Unmarried grade or high school students who have not attained the age of 18 must have written consent
of their parents or guardian in order to participate. (See USBC rule 13)
23. DISPUTES: The Tournament Site-Manager will resolve any disputes based on tournament rules. Prize money disputes must be
submitted to the SBA Executive Director.
24. DRESS CODE: Approved attire includes shirts with sleeves, slacks, dress jeans, shorts, and skorts. The following is not allowed:tank tops, short-shorts, swim suits, spandex, and hats. All decisions of proper attire will remain with the tournament manager
25.Tournament Manager has the right to add dates and times as deemed necessary.
26.USBC rules shall govern any rules not covered above.
