TASKStudents are required to propose a Gateway design for Polytechnic of Sultan Idris Shah(PSIS). The task mayenhance the skills of 3D shape command, modifier command to create architectural computer generatedmodels. The submission of model of PSIS Gateway should be composed in A4 size format paper. Marks shall begiven based on the creativity of design, skills of manipulating the 3D tools, angle’s view ,aesthetics appearanceof composition layout and overall completeness.

Task given maychallenge student’s capability to produce a 3D model with concern on ergonomics & anthropometrics of BusShelter and small Kiosk. The submission of Bus Shelter + Kiosk of PSIS should be composed in A4 size format paper.Marks shall be given based on the creativity & complexity of design, skills of manipulating 3D tools, angle’s view,layout composition, shadow & lighting effect rendering, and overall completeness.

ASSIGNMENT 2 + 3 (20%)

TASKStudents are required to create animation of PSIS Gateway (assignment 01) within 2-3 minutes. Task given maychallenge student’s capability to produce a simple animation by using SketchUp's software. The submission ofanimation should be compiled and burned in CD together with simple sketching of ‘story board’. Marksshall be given based on the story board planning, creative camera positioning, smooth range of videoframe, video quality rendering, shadow on day effects, and overall compositions.

ASSIGNMENT 4 + 5 (20%)

TASKStudents are required to create animation of PSIS Bus Shelter + Kiosk (assignment 02) within 2-3 minutes. Task givenmay challenge student’s capability to produce final touch animation by using plugin’s software (lumion, artlantis,any kind of animation software). The animation also should be edit and adding the elemens of sound, words andeffects. The submission of animation should be compiled and burned in CD together with simple sketchingof ‘story board’. Marks shall be given based on the story board planning, creative camera positioning,smooth range of video editing, video quality rendering, shadow + night lighting effects, and overallcompositions.SUBMISSIONSubmission week : Week 9
