Well another year has come and about to pass. If you are a RV manufacturer you are glad to see this year end. Next year can only get better and we are seeing signs of that already. I just got back from the annual RVIA show in Louisville KY, this is where we dis- play our product to RV dealers from all across North America. It was a great suc- cess this year landing us four new dealers and some long awaited orders. It was so positive that we are hiring more staff and increasing our production. You can probably here the collective sign of relief all the way from Saskatoon. We introduced in Louisville our private bathroom as a standard feature now in the Lexor-TS and Lexor-TD. The traditional Lexor bathroom will still be used in the Lexor TS4 (four seat version) and optional on the other models. We have also launched a new Ambassador program that will reward you for showing off your coach to potential customers. With the success of our Super Ambassadors Bobbi Bergstrom and Rob Tillotson’s hard work the program has been long over due. Pleasure-Way RV Club West News Pleasure-Way RV Club West (PWRVCW) has a BIG event com-ing up: the 10th anniversary of the beginning of our club. We will be celebrating at Wine Country RV in Paso Robles, CA in late April, 2010. We've already heard that the origi-nators of our club will be joining us for this special event - and we hope that Dean Rumpel, CEO of Pleas-ure-Way will also be joining us! Last year's Annual Rally, held at Carlsbad KOA in Carlsbad, NM in early May, 2009, had a most un-usual last minute "special event" included in the agenda: a police es-corted convoy of 48 Pleasure-Ways traveling for a night out at the local drive-in movie! It's unlikely that we'll ever again top that adventure!

Our most recent rally was sponsored by members Sue and Shel Zeiler, and was held at Emerald Desert Resort in Palm Desert, CA in mid-November. The weather was delightful, the bocce ball very competitive, and meeting with old and new friends most enjoy-able. We also had the opportunity to see Pleasure-Way's newest: the 2010 Plateau. Because PWRVCW covers a wide geographical area, we have encour-aged the development of more local-ized chapters within the club. The first of these, Rocky Mountain RV Club, coordinated by the Tillotsons, held its first camp-out in September and is off to a good start (See Rob's write-up elsewhere in this issue). Sev-eral Washington State members are

trying out the possibility of a chapter in their area, and the Zeilers are working on plans for a Southern California (SoCal) chapter. Chapter events are generally less "formal" camp-outs held in the local area,. Chapter members are also PWRVCW dues paying members. For information about PWRVCW, e-mail: Marg Vanderlippe [email protected] Or: 1-928-284-3598

The first “Camp Out” for the Rocky Mountain RV Club was held at the 4 Seasons RV Resort in Salida, Colorado. The Camp-ground is located in the HEART OF THE ROCKYS on the Beautiful Arkasas River and we were all camped right next to the River. The sound of the river was beautiful. 10 rigs attended with 19 people. We all had a good time and the weather was delight-ful. Camping facilities were great and the campground hosts were most accommodating. The Camp Out included a meet and greet party the first night and our PW Sales Representative, Ted Passic was there with great snacks, wine and cheese and some nice gifts for a drawing. We all attended a great dinner, Dutch treat, at the Country Bounty Restaurant and had a great time. Our pot luck dinner was held at the Emmer's home in Salida, What great hosts Mark and Nancy were and we thank them for opening their home to us. Our Good Bye breakfast was held at the Country Bounty where we said our good byes. We all had a wonderful time our Camp Out. Club Members, Rob and Joy Tillotson Hosted the first Camp Out. We encourage our members to host other such Camp Outs in the future. Our goal is to have smaller Camp Outs, and to enjoy each others company and visit new areas in the Rocky Mountain Region and thru the mid western states. The RMRVC is a sub-chapter of the Pleasure-Way RV Club West and Membership in PWRVCW is required to attend this clubs mini Campouts Rob and Joy Tillotson. Pleasure-Way RV Club East News By Bobbi Bergstrom

P A G E 3

We had a Rally in Cape May, NJ in June and we had a number of new folks who came and joined our club. We did have some rain and some pesky mosquitoes, but, we are not fair weather campers, so we made it through, just fine.

We had a potluck dinner in the pavilion which was really a large barn, with tables and benches. The food which took up several large tables was amazing. PW folks really have the greatest ideas for these potlucks! We had some shrimp, pulled pork, hot dogs & beans, salads, etc. The desserts were non-dietetic!

During the day, folks did their thing. We had the dinner at a res-taurant, not the best, (unfortunately), but, at least we all got to sit and talk and get to know each other. To me, that's what it's all about!

If you would like to join our club, please send me an email at: [email protected] with your personal information and also the information on your Pleasure-Way. Our dues are $10.00 per van, and are good for 2010. Your check should be made out to our treasurer, and for our Canadian friends, (you may also send cash if it is more convenient for you) and sent to her at the follow-ing address:

Nancy Bergested 11 Millcreek Terrace Barnegat, NJ 08005

I just sent out the membership list, so if you join now, we will send you a copy and your name will be sent to

other members. Our newsletter is being finished and will also be sent out to paid up members. We now have hats with our club logo on it to sell along with the shirts and name badges. This helps raise money for the club which enables us to give nice gifts for those who attend our rallies. HERSHEY RV SHOW-PENNSYLVANIA-2009

What a great time we had!! We had 65 people from all over the USA and Canada attend. We had our wine & cheese get together on Thursday night and there were also some appetizers that folks brought. We had 2 Reps from Pleasure-Way , Chuck Kellogg who is the EAST-COAST and Ted Passic who is the WESTCOAST..

We had a Q & A time and they were both very knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions.

We also held a 50/50 drawing, and we held the drawing on Friday night at dinner. All cash!! We gave $50.00 to the winner and the other $50.00 to the club. We shall do this again next year!

The show will be held September 15th- 19th. We already have 15 vans registered at the campground. If you want to come, their cancellation is $12.00 if you do so 10 days before your reservation. It is not too early to register, as many of you know, the sites fill up very quickly. If you are thinking of coming, just send me an email or call me and I will give your the rest of the information in

order to register and about what we do.

Let's beat this years amount of peo-ple! I know we can do it!! CB MASTER LIST

I am in the process of updating the list, sorry I didn't get to it sooner. If you are interested in being on the list, please send me your PW chassis, model and year. Also your names, state, license plate #, your handle(s). I will then send each person a copy, either by email or snail mail. Just let me know if you don't have a computer. The Western Canada Pleasure-Way Club has moved from a National Club to an International Club, with the inclusion of members from the United States. The Club has done very well for being in op-eration for approximately two years, with approximately 50 PW owners. We are of course very proud of that. We have discovered that owning a PW is more than ownership, it is a way of life. We have met so many nice people from Europe, United States and Canada; one wonders why we didn't do this be-fore. Last summer it was a trip to Alaska were we met with different PW owners and learned a lot and made notes of their ideas. We also made good friends and have visited back and forth and we are looking forward to meeting some of them again this summer. Our Western Canada PW Club communicates by email and the occasional newsletter and has a good time in doing so. We have of course, one rule in the club. We are here to enjoy ourselves and to pass on information to all members. The club members have come up with modification to the tables, added shelving, wider rear window openings, screening for the RV, interior clothes hanger that can be put away when not in use. Cargo boxes for the rear of the PW, stabilizing jack for the PW. Permanently mounted black water flushes, various TV mods as well. So we have been a busy club as one can see. We are of course always attempting to improve our lot for all members and all members have a say as to what they would like to do, see, or go. NEW MEMBERS We welcome the following new members to the Club. Hlus, Zenith & Marjorie Kendall, Peter & Chris Kerr, Colyn & Ayn MacDonald, Dennis & Faye Morgan, Les & Patricia Pauwels, Andre & Anne MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May the warmth and goodwill of the Season fill your Heart and Home with Happiness. Don’t eat too much Christmas cake or turkey. Rosemarie & George Bull

The PWRVCSE has now merged with the PWRVCE, so those members will now be joining us. We are very happy to welcome them into our club, and we hope they will enjoy being a part of our club as our members al-ready do. We joined the clubs to better help the members, as to hopefully meeting and making new friends and also receiving the benefits of our club. Louise will take care of setting up any winter get-togethers in FL. So, in this way, any members who are in FL. at that time can attend. Any members will be able to attend our rallies in any area, and you will be just paying your dues to one club.

Since we have already sent out our membership list, all new members will be sent one when they join. We will add their names to our list as they pay their dues for 2010. The club sells shirts, hats and name badges with our club logo on it. We raise money for the club by selling these items in order for us to give gifts at our rallies.

Please send your dues for 2010 made out to our treasurer and mail them to her at the following address:

Nancy Bergested 11 Millcreek Terrace Barnegat, NJ 08005

The merging of the clubs are what Louise and I felt would be the best thing to do for all of the members. We want what is best for all Pleasure-Way owners, to be able to meet and make new friends and talk about their Pleasure-Way!
