• Location: Sydney – Eastern and Northern Suburbs
• Features: Beach Day, Mud Run, Community Day, Foam Party, Harbour Cruise, Heaps of Great Sports

BEACH DAY
• Brighton Le Sands
• Will be playing:- Beach Volleyball- Beach Touch Football- Beach Races- Swimming Races- Iron Man Competition
• Non-surf beach• Netted swimming area• Life guards will be on duty and medical personnel will be present
all day.
ADVENTURE DAY
• A first for junior Carnival, the Day Trip to the Glenworth Valley:• Mud Run
• What To Wear: • Old T-shirts• Old Shorts • Old Shoes• Towel
• Waiver Form Compulsory - “No Waiver, No Mud Run” – There are NO electric fences and NO cows present
• Don’t bring mobile phones!
SPECIAL NOTESSoccer – Shin Guards are Compulsory
Tennis – Participants may bring their own Racquets, otherwise Maccabi to supply
Rock Climbing – Waiver Form must be signed “No waiver form, no Rock Climbing” – No Under 12’s. Sorry
Billeting – When giving gifts to your billet family, PLEASE DON’T TAKE ALCOHOL on the plane
Purchasing of Food/Snacks/Drinks – Kosher food/snacks will be available to purchase at events, billeting family will prepare snacks too
Foam Party – bring a towel, avoid wearing WHITE
Pool Party – A towel and change of clothes is required
Hats Compulsory
ID Tags – Compulsory
Electronics – Cameras, mobiles, ipods, etc are the responsibility of your child

A TYPICAL DAY AT CARNIVAL • Morning sports session – 8.30AM for 9AM start
• Meet for communal lunch, approx 12.30pm
• Shuttle buses between sport activities to lunch venue
• Afternoon sports session, pick up at 4.30pm
• Home to freshen up
• Evening social function
• Shabbat is a Rest Day
UNIFORMS
• New uniform design
• Used for Sydney 2013 & Perth 2014 carnivals.
• Payment for carnival must have been received before hand out
• No refunds, only exchanges

SECURITY AND HEALTH
SECURITY
• Security provided by Volunteers as well as CSG as well as Private Security Patrols
• ID Tags must worn at all times
HEALTH
• Hatzolah and St John
• Declare any medical conditions
• Hot weather policy – if 38 degrees or above at 1.30pm then sport called off. Kids can stay at Moriah / Masada in air conditioned hall.
AIR TRAVEL
2 x Group Flights – DepartTuesday 15th Jan leaving Melbourne 9am, 10am
Return 23rd Jan, leaving Sydney 10am, 11am
Billet committee will greet flights and handover to Billet families
Those flying on separate flights will need to inform us of flight arrangements and either make own pickup arrangements or coincide with Billeting committee times
Air and Billet allocations will only be announced 4-7 days before Carnival
BILLETING
Arranged by Carnival management or note left on registration form
Priority for billeting according to these guidelines: Shomer Shabbat Glatt Kosher Kosher Allergies Gender Sport Age group
May be some double up – upon special request Depends on number of people requiring billets Billeting Policy in relation to changes. North Shore vs Eastern Suburbs is not a valid reason for change
CODE OF CONDUCT
• Must be noted by participants and parents by checking the box
• Curfew for TEAM VIC is 1 hour after the conclusion of the social event.
• All participants must comply with code of conduct • Billeting• Smoking, Alcohol and Illegal drugs Policy, new caffeine policy• Weapons • Personal violence and bullying / cyber bullying
• Serious offenses will result in children being sent home at your own expense
• Code of conduct can be read on and printed from the registration site
