BSNL 3G Data Card APN Procedure

Please note that LW272 is coming with default universal APN Settings for

accessing the internet.

Normally with the default APN, Data Card should work, if it is not working please

contact BSNL customer care to understand the used APN to access the internet.

1. Selecting Setting Button: Click on Setting Button on GUI. Setting Button can be found

GUI by placing the cursor on GUI Buttons. A tool tip will present to identify the button, (As

shown in below pic.).

By default one button will be selected inside Setting button on GUI, other buttons will be

glowed. (As Network setting is selected in below pic.). We can select any other setting by

clicking on the corresponding button.

2. Initial Settings: When device is initializing Network Setting, Connection Setting, Message

Setting & Call Setting will not glow inside Setting Button on GUI (As shown in below pic.).

Please wait for a while for device to be initialized.

3. Select Connection Setting: Click Connection Setting inside Setting Button on GUI to Add

a new connection, Edit/Delete existing connection or select connection profile from the List.

(Please refer to the pic. Below).

Please select BSNL 3G or BSNL 3G South and Set as Default APN for Internet Access.NOTE: Before selecting BSNL 3G or BSNL 3G South, Please verify APN Setting for your

BSNL Zone from BSNL Customer Care, else you might not be able to Access Internet.

Note: If youre not a customer of BSNL 3G Zone or BSNL 3G South Zone, Its required

you to Create APN Profile Manually in order to Access Internet.

4. Create New APN Profile in Connetion Setting:To Create A New APN Profile, ClickSetting Button on GUI. Then Select Connection Setting inside Setting Button. After That Click

on Add Button. Youll find Add New Profile there. (As shown in below pic.).

5. Save New APN Profile in Connection Setting: Please verify your APN Setting for

Internet Access from BSNL Customer Care & Fill appropriate setting in Add New Profile. After

filling APN Setting of your Zone, Click on Apply Button. As youll Click on Apply Button, A

Notification Prompt Box will Appear. Click OK to save your APN Setting (As shown in belowpic.). After saving APN setting your APN profile will be displayed in APN Profile List in Left

side of connection setting.

6. Save Default APN Setting in Connection Setting:The Factory default setting of Data

card is BSNL 3G. to Access internet in your BSNL Zone, its necessary to Set Appropriate

APN Profile as Default APN Profile. To Set an APN Profile as Default, Select the desired

profile from Profile List in Connection Setting. Then Click Set Default Button. (As shown inbelow pic.). A Notification Prompt will apprear on screen. Click OK to set the APN Profile as

Default APN Profile for your BSNL Zone.

7. Its quite easy to distinguish Default APN Profile from Other APN Profiles in APN Profile List in

Connection Setting. Default APN Profile is highlighted with green selected box on the left of

APN Profile in APN Profile List in Connection Setting (As shown in below pic.).

8. Edit/Delete APN Profile in Connection Setting:To Edit/Delete an APN Profile, Please

go to Connection Setting inside Setting Button on GUI. Then Click on APN Profile in APN

Profile List which has to be Edit/Delete. After that Click on Edit/Delete Button to Edit/Deleted

selected APN Profile.Note: Its not possible to Edit/Delete BSNL 3G APN Profile. BSNL 3G South can be

Edit/Delete. Its possible to Edit/Delete all other manually created APN Profiles.

9. Some BSNL APN Profile Settings For User Convenience: BSNL 3G APN Profile

Setting, BSNL 3G South APN Profile Setting & BSNL 3G West APN Profile Setting are given

below for the convenience of Data Card User.

Note:APN Profile name can be anything in below APN Profile Settings.(i.e. your name, your

Spouses name etc.).

Please verify APN Profile Setting of your BSNL Zone from BSNL Customer

Care, before using Factory Default APN Profile Setting or APN Profile Setting

other BSNL Zones (To be filled Manually). Otherwise Itll not possible to

Access Internet from BSNL 3G Data Card.

A. APN Profile Setting For BSNL 3G (Used in Delhi NCR, & May be used in

some other Zone like BSNL North Zone etc.)

B. APN Profile Setting For BSNL 3G South (Used in BSNL South Zone Like

Chennai, Bangalore etc.)
