3M Abrasive solutions at your fingertips The 3M Abrasive systems Catalogue has been designed to make it as easy as possible for you to find the details you

require about our range of world-class abrasive products.

Products are grouped into nine colour-coded sections with each represented by the type of tool they are designed to

work with. The final two colour-coded sections represent the tools and accessories available from the 3M range.

A second contents page has also been provided which lists all of the products by name, to make it quicker to find the

products that you might already know by name.

To make product selection easier, we have provided information on each of the section divider pages that shows both

the application and the substrates that each product is primarily designed to work with.

3M Centre-Pin Contact Disc Pads

Ribbed grinding face on the back-up pads improves the cut rate of the bre discs and allows the operator to use less pressure on the work piece.

Retaining nuts to suit either metric or imperial threaded tool systems are supplied with every back up pad. Each pad is packaged individually and ready for retail stores.

Centre-Pin Attachment System contributes to a reduction in tool vibration by centring, securing and maintaining the disc in the correct position on the back-up pad.

Strong T-Hooks on the face of the pad will securely hold surface conditioning as well as light grinding and blending discs, while the centre-pin will signi cantly reduce the risk of disc y-off from the back-up pad.

The centre-pin is designed not to interfere with the work surface, allowing the disc to be used in the same method as it is now.
