Yard BRAINS. BEAUTY. CROWNS. These 10 young standouts beat 44 other dynamic young women to become EBONY’s 2015 Top Campus Queens. Choosing their majesties is a deeply rooted tradition at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and highlighting these leading ladies is EBONY’s annual honor. The featured Queens garnered nearly 1 million online votes, and the spoils of victory were pretty much, as they would say, “on � eek.”

We � ew the winners to Washington, D.C., for the royal treatment: a photo shoot held on the grounds of Howard University. There, our glamour gals primped and preened and, most important, engaged in all types of good-natured tomfoolery while connecting with one another. We asked our Queens about everything from dormitory life to dating, and they gave us their views from the top.
