Having your soil and synthetic aterials tested by an independent laboratory is iportant to deonstrate

that these construction aterials eet your standards. This type o quality assurance can satisy your design

speciications and provide a easure o due diligence that is docuented. In todays coplex environent, it

is ore iportant than ever to test aterials in order to identiy potential probles caused by anuacturing

deects, construction installation or even natural disasters. As an owner or project anager, you are concerned

not only with the long-ter viability and proitability o your acility, but keeping current construction costs as

low as possible. This eans that aterials testing ust be quick, reliable and reasonably priced.

    Quality assurance

Golder has ully equipped geotechnicaland geosynthetic laboratories that testaterials quickly, accurately, and cost-eectively. With our state-o-the-artequipent and advanced technologies,we can conduct ore than 60geotechnical and geosynthetic testsallstandardized by the Aerican Societyor Testing and materials (ASTm). For

soe aterials, ASTm standards havenot yet been created. In those situations,we draw on our proessional experienceto develop testing techniques thatprovide you with a coortable level oquality assurance. When your technicalneeds go beyond noral lab testing,we also draw upon the environentaland geotechnical experience oGolder proessionals who are locatedthroughout a worldwide networko oces.
