Book Review

The adventure starts in James’ aunts’ house. James used to live in a cottage by the sea with his parents until one day his parents went to London and got bashed by a rhinoceros and died. After the tragic incident, James needed to live in a house on the hill with his mean aunt Spikers and aunt Sponge. After living there for a few years, an old man burst out of a bush and gave some magic beans to James. The old man told James that if James ate all of the beans, it would change his entire life forever. But James tripped on a rock and spilled them on the ground near the Peach Tree that never gave them any peaches. James went to bed sadly after the accident. He had just wasted the a chance to change his entire life. But in the night, something marvelous happened and the adventure began…

Dear Ellis and Anyue, I’m having trouble with my friends on the field. Some of them told an adult that I wasn’t listening to them when they were talking. How do I get along with them?

Dear Anonymous, Instead of shouting, maybe you should talk to them in your normal voice. If they try to interrupt you, you can hold up a hand and keep on talking. You shouldn’t block them off just because they told an adult, you can accept it and apologise for not listening, even if you were listening. That will probably make your friends feel better and you can have friendly talks together again.

Dear Sick Of Squabbling, If you don’t want to fight with your sibling, you should try a change of attitude! Maybe your brother or sister likes one aspect of you better than others! (No offence) Another tactic you could try is to pay it forward. You can be nice to your sibling for at least a day, and your sibling may notice and be nicer to you. You could also ask your sibling why he or she is mean or annoying to you. Maybe you’re being mean and you don’t even know it! Appreciate that you have someone in your family who may be looking out for you!

1) Awarding Yourself

When you are reading or doing a math worksheet, you might get bored and not bother doing it. To motivate yourself you put a treat or a piece of candy at the end of each paragraph. Then you are willing to finish your assignment and get a reward. Trust me, it motivates you a lot.

2) Studying Hack When you are studying and need to remember something, act like you are teaching a class to your pretend students. For example;

YOU: Wrong, it’s 36

You can also dress up like a teacher but don’t get too crazy.

Why school is important

School is important because if you don’t go to school, you will not have a good chance at getting a good job.

Motivation is good because it motivates you! Hence the name. If you have good motivation, you have a good chance of succeeding the goal you have motivated yourself to reach.

3) Motivation and Management Hang up papers in your room about what homework is assigned and the due date. Also hang up motivational quotes and pictures about finishing your homework and focusing. It can also be a picture of something you look forward to (a vacation, or a place you're visiting.) It gives you motivation. Especially if you’re going to Disneyland.

4) Papercut Problems When you get a papercut while you’re studying, get the pain away by applying Vaseline on the papercut. It helps. :D

5 Spelling Checks When you're editing your writing and finding spelling mistakes. Copy your text and paste it on google translate and let it read it to you. If you hear a spelling mistake, change it. It might feel weird at first but you will get used to it.

Dear Unsure, You don’t have to be her friend, but you should be nice to her even if you don’t like her. If you don’t want to talk to her, you should gently tell her that you don’t want to play with her. Make sure that she isn’t hurt, because no one wants to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Dear Disorganized, You can stay organised by labelling your things and putting them in folders. You should also re-organise your messy space every few weeks, or whenever you feel like you can’t find anything. It helps to keep everything clean and neat, and a benefit - your mom will never have to bother you about a messy room again!

Skate 3 Skate 3 was created by a company called EA Black Box. EA Black Box was founded in 1998, in Burnaby, Canada by Jamie Thomas. EA Black Box also created other games such as NHL Hitz, Sega Soccer Slam and The Sims 2 Stuff Packs. EA Black Box also doesn’t create violent games. Skate 3 was released on May 11, 2010.

Skate 3 is a skateboarding game. If you do good tricks you get more points. The more points you get the better it is because you will unlock more things that you can buy. The points you get can be used to buy new and better skateboards. A good feature of this game is that you can decorate your own skateboard. If you play online you can play with 2-6 players. You can play Skate 3 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 if you have the Skate 3 disk. You can make your own skate parks if you want to, like plazas and mega ramps. When you first start the game you have to learn how to do tricks and basics with a guy called Coach Frank.

What I like about this game is that you can build your own parks and you can decorate your skateboard after you buy it. Something else that is good about this game is that you can create your own players and name them whatever you want. What I don't like about Skate 3 is that when you fall off your board you have to wait for your board to come back. It doesn't come back immediately.

Some of the graphics are good because when you are skateboarding in a neighbourhood, it really looks like a real neighbourhood. Something else that I like in this game is that the obstacles are harder so you can actually see that there are other obstacles that are harder than real life.

The ramps are also higher. But some of the graphics in this game are not really good, because when you fall down from a skateboard, you don't get hurt at all. I think that the game made the skateboard too fast because in real life, the skateboard is slower.

The score that I would give this game is 7 out of 10 because it's not really that realistic. Some parts are realistic but other parts aren't. People jump out of the way when you skateboard towards them. Sometimes they fall over but sometimes you fall over. Sometimes it glitches and when you get a score and it glitches, then it was a fail because the glitch will just make the game not count your score.

If you like skateboarding or want to play skateboarding, I recommend you to play Skate 3.

Fifa 15 Fifa 15 was created by a large company called EA Canada. EA Canada also made Fifa 14,13,12 and all the other Fifas. EA Canada also created Need for Speed and NBA Live 08. The company was founded in January 1983, in Burnaby, Canada. It was founded by Don Mattrick. Unlike Treyarch, all of EA Canada’s games are not violent. Fifa 15 was released on September 23, 2014.

Fifa 15 is a game of soccer. If you play single player, you will have to play against the computer, but if you play multiplayer, you can match with your friend or team up to beat the computer. If you win the match that you play, you will earn more coins that you can use to buy new and better players. If you lose though, you will get nothing and your team will drop down in the league. If you win every match you play, you will get a championship trophy for your team.

What I like about this game is that it marks the player that you are controlling. I also like that it is easy to control the players. What I don’t like about this game is that the referee cheats sometimes, like a glitch. I also don’t like that the game changes the player when you didn’t even know and you didn’t want that to happen. It happens automatically.

What I like about the graphics is that EA Canada tried to make everything as realistic as possible. The graphics are not that good but they are okay and they have floodlights but when it rains its a little bit annoying because you can’t really see the pitch.

The score that I would give Fifa 15 is an 8 out of 10 because there are a few glitches which don’t happen that often but when they do it’s really annoying. I wouldn’t give it a 9 or a 10 because sometimes the referee cheats when a glitch doesn’t even happen. I would say this is a good game for you if you like soccer, and also this game isn’t violent so you can still play it if you can’t play violent games.

How to make goo

Procedure for making the goo

1. Pour 2 cups of glue into the large mixing bowl.

2. Pour 2 cups of hot water into the large mixing bowl and use a spatula to mix it well.

3. Put a few drops of food colouring into the large mixing bowl and mix for an interesting colour.

4. Set your mixture aside.

5. Grab your 3 Tbsp of borax and add it to your 2/3 cup of water, and mix with mixing utensil.

6. Take your big mixing bowl and add your borax water solution to your big mixing bowl and mix with spatula.

7. You will see a solid form and it will take a while for your goo to absorb the water. Keep mixing until all your borax, glue and water solution are mixed together.

8. After your goo has absorbed a good amount of water, feel free to use your hands to mix.

6. 2 cups of warm water (ask adult for help)

7. 2 cups of glue (clear or white)

8. 3 Tbsp of borax

9. Additional cups of water

Tip In the end start folding the goo to make it less sticky.

Sticks, Water, Tape,

Anything Sharp

(Knife, Sharp Scissors,

etc), Gloves

Procedure: Get a glow stick that isn't orange ( If you get an orange glow stick it won’t glow).

Get a water bottle of your choice. Then pour some water in it.

Put on gloves for safety.

Activate the Glow Stick normally.

Cut the Glow Stick in half with anything sharp. Be careful not to hurt yourself with the chemicals.

Squeeze the chemicals into the water bottle.

Put the lid on. Secure it properly and then put tape over so that you're 100% sure that the liquid is

not going to spill.

Shake the water bottle so that the whole thing will start to glow.

Müller places it in the bottom left corner, goal, 1-0. 26th minute, Badstuber booked. 8 minutes later, Jerome Boateng headers a beauty. Bayern lead by 2. Another 4 minutes pass and Boateng and Douglas Costa get in a fight and receive a yellow warning. Half time. 49th minute Ribery plays a one-two and sends a low, high powered through shot that almost rips the net. 3 minutes later, Thomas Muller scores a rebound. 75th minute , Götze passes back to the captain, Philipp Lahm, who launches a long ball to Lewandoski, former Dortmund star, who is able to slide it in! 6-0. 3 minutes before full time, Götze scores just 1 more to give Bayern a 7-0 win. Too many goals for Shakhtar fans!

After an ugly and eventless piece of football, the ref finally blows for half time. Finally, Cahill scores in the 81st minute to put Chelsea in the lead. But

seven minutes later, it's tied up by a shot from David Luiz. Full time, but it has to go on to extra time. Belgian star Eden Hazard stays cool and sinks the ball into the net from the spot and gives Chelsea a 2-1 lead!! Eight minutes after the penalty, Brazilian captain and defending star, Thiago Silva ties it up! 2-2!!!! Surprising, two Brazilian defenders score. Full time and the ref gives extra 3 minutes. Game over for the Blues.

Juventus vs Dortmund, 3-0.

Third minute Carlos Tevez SCORES!!!1-0!! Half time. 25 minutes after half time, Alvaro Morata bursts the net. 3 minutes after the second goal, Marco Reus sees yellow. 79 minute, Tevez makes it 3-0. Juventus have won it.

Bordeaux vs Paris saint Germain, 3-2.

18 minutes after kickoff, Sane brings the ball to the net and gives Bordeaux a goal to lean on, only to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic tie it in the 50th minute. Khazri, though, brings the lead back to Bordeaux in the 70th minute but the Swedish star Zlatan stays cool on the spot. 2-2. But what's Ibrahimovic saying???!!! France does not deserve PSG?!! He must be joking! Anyway, he'll apologize. 88th minute, Rolan decides he wants Bordeaux to win and smashes it to win for Bordeaux. What an exciting match.

AS Roma vs Sampdoria, 0-2.

After a half full of Roman chances and failures, the referee blows for the fifth-teen minute break. 15 minute after half time, De Silvestri brings a goal to the match. Only 18 minutes later, Muriel gives Sampdoria a goal. 2-0!! Full time.

Step 2. If you are left footed, put your left foot on the outside and if you are right footed, put your right foot on the outside.

How to shoot Properly

Step 1. Take a few steps backwards diagonally to the right if you are left footed and to the left if you are right footed.

Step 2. Lean back a little.

Mr Stink is a hilarious book written by David Williams and illustrated by Quentin Blake. If you are a fan of Roald Dahl then it is the perfect book to read. It is a step forward in child fiction. It is a perfect book with a combination of fun, adventure, love, excitement and friendship. It gives the readers a very important message to like their parents.

This story is about a little girl named Chloe who, in curiosity, one day goes and talks to a local tramp called Mr Stink. He smells a lot but still Chloe loves him. He is the nicest person she has ever met. One day, she gets Mr Stink to live in her garden shed, but this could be a big problem for her.

I loved this book, and I hope you also enjoy reading it!

We don’t need to buy a box of ice cream and just leave it in the freezer forever. We can make ice cream with the materials and ingredients we have at home. With this recipe, you won’t have to have leftover ice cream and it’s so delicious!

HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE ICE

CREAM

WHAT YOU NEED:

1/2 Cup of Milk

1 Tbsp of Sugar

1/2 tsp of Vanilla extract

2 Trays of Ice Cubes

2 Ziploc Bags (One Quart and One Gallon Sized)

Measuring Cup

Tablespoon

Teaspoon

#1: Put the milk, sugar and vanilla extract in the quart sized bag. Seal the bag properly so that nothing will spill.

#2: Put the ice and salt in the the gallon bag.

#3: Put the quart sized bag in the gallon sized bag. Seal the bag properly.

#4: Start shaking the bag. If your hands start to get cold, put on winter gloves. (Any kind of gloves will work, just cover your hands.) Shake the bag for ten minutes, and then take the small bag out.

#5: When your bag is out, cut a corner off of the quart sized bag and squeeze it into a bowl.

#6: Now you have some delicious ice cream. Enjoy!

HOW TO MAKE A BERRY SHAKE

Procedure

Step 1

Put the berries, bananas, ice and milk in the blender.

Step 2

Blend the shake until it all is blended.

Step 3

Put a scoop of ice cream in the bottom of the big glass. (Tip: If you do not have ice cream, make some in a plastic bag.)

Step 4

Pour the shake just a little below the brim of the glass.

Step 5

Put a scoop of ice cream on the top.

Step 6

Put cream in a swirl on the top.

Step 7

Put the toppings, cherry and syrup on the top.

Step 8

Put the straw and spoon in.

Step 9
