Our rating & descriptionThis stunning Palazzo is a refined Venetian relais , recognised as a “Pe-

riod Residence” by the Provincial Authorities and the Monuments and

Fine Arts Office of Venice: the building dates back to the late 1500’s with

frescoed ceilings, authentic antique furniture, precious silk fabrics and

paintings from the Tintoretto school.

Guests are welcomed into the atrium with marble flooring, a wooden la-

cunar ceiling and polychrome windows with leaded glass that look out

onto the canal, where the hotel’s private docking place is situated. On

the opposite side there is a magnificent “embracing” type staircase, the

only one of its kind in Venice, that leads to the first floor of the building.

The delicious sweet and savoury buffet breakfast is served in the re-

fined breakfast rooms and during the warmer season it is served in the

splendid garden which is privately owned. The garden is one of the

“hidden treasures” of this welcoming Venetian relais: secular trees,

multi-coloured, scented flowers and marble benches on which to relax

and read a good book.

Each and every detail transmits the sensation of stepping back in time,

to the era of the glory and splendour of the Marine Republic, but at the

same time guests are surrounded by the most modern and desirable

comforts.

you in a charmingly attractive location, with rooms that will take you

back in time, a splendid private garden, and all the most modern com-

Each room in this elegant Venetian relais is a unique and precious jew-

el, in which the details were chosen one by one with special care and

passion. Rooms are furnished with original antique furniture from the

1700’s, Murano glass lamps , antique Venetian mirrors and damasked

silk wallpaper. The ceilings are decorated with stucco and frescos from

the 1500’s that have been perfectly conserved, while the flooring is in

Venetian style or in engraved wood. The rooms, which are spacious and

bright, look out onto Rio di Santa Sofia, Calle Priuli and the splendid

garden which is situated within the grounds of the Building, from which

there is an intense scent of lilies.

Palazzo can offer its guests extremely luxurious suites with a sleeping

area and a comfortable living area finished in velvet.

All of the rooms are for non-smokers and they have air conditioning and

individually controlled heating, safety deposit box, mini-bar, satellite TV,

ADSL Wi-Fi Internet connection and bathroom with a bath or shower.

WeddingsThis wonderful Palazzo is glad to offer its magnificent, antique building

to organize special events such as weddings, banquets, gala dinners,

cocktails. These will take place in our precious noble floor, originally

frescoed -hall and in our private garden.

Our guests will have the possibility to be directly dropped off at the Pala-

zzo private dock on the canal, which will ensure them a striking arrival.
