MECHANICS FOR THE PROMOTION The promotion will be conducted over an eleven (11) month period from February 2, 2017 to December 31, 2017. All existing and newly signed Access Plus® debit cardholders who use their Access Plus® debit card six (6) or more times per month for approved point of sale purchases, withdrawal and/or deposit transactions at any merchant and/or ATM will qualify for entry into the promotion. Quality Network Co-operative (QNET), a subsidiary of JCCUL, will capture all activities from the Access Plus® debit card. QNET will collate and verify the approved transactions from Access Plus® debit cards that were used six (6) times for each month. QNET system will randomly select winners electronically after KPMG has verified the collated list. Two (2) winners will be selected each month via a random electronic draw six (6) working days after the end of each month. For the draw periods of March 2017 to December 2017, entries will be randomly selected electronically each month as per schedule. On these draw dates, two (2) winners will be selected to receive $30,000 each. For the draw that will be held in January 2018, entries will be randomly selected electronically as per schedule. On this draw date, two (2) winners will be selected to receive $75,000 each in honour of the 75 th anniversary of the Credit Union Movement. The promotion is open to all Credit Union Access Plus® cardholders The promotion is only valid in Jamaica. The promotion will be advertised via posters, flyers, press ads, outdoor promotions, digital video boards, SMS, digital advertisement, Facebook and radio advertisements. HOW TO ENTER All existing and newly-signed Access Plus® debit cardholders who use their Access Plus® debit card a minimum of six (6) or more times per month will get a chance to win. All Credit Union Access Plus® Cardholders are allowed multiple entries once they have not been selected as a winner during the promotion. These approved point of sale purchases, withdrawal and/or deposit transactions must be done with an Access Plus® debit card at any point of sale machine at merchants and/ or at ATMs. Entrants must be permanent residents of Jamaica with a valid Jamaican ID at the time of entry. Entrant must be 16 years or older at the time of entry. SELECTION OF WINNERS Promotion ends December 31, 2017. All monthly draws will be done six (6) working days after each month end as per schedule provided at 10:30am. Each month, the potential winners will be generated by the QNET electronic system that captures and verifies the approved transactions of the Access Plus® debit cardholders. The QNET will randomly choose entries from the record that contains the number of transactions and the debit card numbers. Auditors from KPMG Jamaica will validate the generated list from QNET with the debit card numbers and validity of Credit Union membership. Two (2) winners will selected each month along with four (4) back up entries in the event that JCCUL is unable to contact the first two (2) selected winners. A staff member of the JCCUL will contact the two (2) winners via telephone each month within 24 hours of each draw and will ask them to claim their prize at their respective Credit Union. Should a selected winner’s contact number be unreachable after six (6) calls over a three (3) day period (two (2) calls per day) the next backup winner will be called from the four (4) entries drawn. After the winners have been contacted and confirmed by the person designated by JCCUL, their names will be announced during a sponsored hour promoting the Access Plus® debit card on Mello FM (Barry G Show 1:00pm- 5:00pm Monday - Friday) each month. Winners must collect congratulatory letter five (5) business days after they have been contacted and confirmed by the person designated by JCCUL and radio announcement made. Each month all winners selected will be photographed, handed a congratulatory letter after which the cash prize will be deposited into their respective Credit Union accounts within seven (7) business days. For the draw period of March 2017 to December 2017, entries will be randomly selected via electronic means as per schedule. On these draw dates, two (2) winners will be selected to receive $30,000 each. For the last draw held in January 2018, entries will be randomly selected electronically as per schedule. On this draw date, two (2) winners will be selected to receive $75,000 each, in honour of the 75th anniversary of the Credit Union Movement. Each month, if contact to all six (6) selected persons is unsuccessful, then the prize money will be forfeited and the money will revert to the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Limited. (Winners under 18 years of age need parental authorisation). Winners must produce a valid government-issued ID (Passport, Driver’s Licence or National ID) or a passport-sized picture signed by a Justice of the Peace, in order to claim their prize letter. Employees, board members and supervisory committee members of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Limited Group and their immediate family members (parents/spouses/children/siblings) are ineligible to enter. Contractors and contracted workers of OGM Integrated Communications Limited and their immediate family members (parents/spouses/children/siblings) are ineligible to enter. Employees, board members, supervisory committee members and credit committee members of Credit Unions island-wide that offer the Access Plus® debit card are ineligible to enter however their immediate family members are eligible to enter. Each month if contact to all six (6) selected persons is unsuccessful, then the prize money will have been forfeited and the money would revert to the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Limited. If the winner is unable to collect their prize, a representative may be asked to collect on their behalf. Representative must present a signed letter authorising him/her to collect on the winner’s behalf along with a valid photo ID. Winner must also send their valid photo ID with representative for prize collection. All winners under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with their valid proof of ID to claim their prize.
