First stop, the famous Hakodate Asaichi (morning market). It opens from 5:00a.m. At themarket, you will see lots of various seafoods, dried products, & fresh fruits. We recommend the shoyubutter sauté scallops (vacuum packed individually and the giant ika seen below) from Aoyama Suisan.

10:00a.m. Depart hotel for GORYOKAKU PARK and GORYOKAKU TOWER.Goryokaku Tower overlooks the Goryokaku Fort and Mt. Hakodate, a small mountain, 334 meters highwhich offers great views of the city of Hakodate.Set menu lunch at RESTAURANT WINNING.After lunch, Drive-by MOTOMACHI, where there are unique western-influenced buildings,more than a century old, and traditional Japanese buildings still remain in the city to this day.MT. HAKODATE ROPEWAY, it takes 3 minutes to get to the summit from the base station.On a clear day in particular, the views from Mt. Hakodate is spectacular.

Monday, October 05 Hakodate – Shikotsu/Toya – Noboribetsu___6:30a.m.(starts) Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 7:45a.m. Check-out of the hotel.

8:00a.m. Bus departs for SHIKOTSU- TOYA NATIONAL PARK and NOBORIBETSU. It takes 2 hours and30 minutes so we will make a 5-4-4 stop along the way.Showa Shinzan and Mt Usu are the major attractions of Shikotsu-Toya National Park.Mt. Showa Shizan is a small volcano designated as a special natural monument.

11:45a.m. Japanese lunch at a ICHIBANKAN, local restaurant at Showa Shinzan. 12:45p.m. After lunch continue on to NOBORIBETSU ONSEN, one of the many well known resorts in Japan.

Noboribetsu is the largest “hot spring town” in Hokkaido.1:35p.m. NOBORIBETSU DATE JIDAIMURA VILLAGE, a historical theme park devoted to the Edo Period,

the most beautiful era in Japanese history. Every detail inside the park feels like you went back in time:the attendants wear traditional Japanese attire, the pathway is covered with cobblestones, and even the buildings look like you’re inside a movie set.

2:05p.m. Oiran Show (30 minutes) at Japanese Culture Theater.3:40p.m. Ninja Show(20 minutes) at Kasumi Ninja House.

We’re able to view 2 shows: Oiran Show at 2:05pm for 30 minutes and Ninja Show at 3:40pm for 20 minutes.

4:30p.m. Depart Jidaimura Village for our last stop, JIGOKUDANI or “Hell Valley”.4:45p.m. JIGOKUDANI or "Hell Valley" a spectacular and appropriately named valley just above the town of

Noboribetsu Onsen, which displays hot steam vents, sulfurous streams and other volcanic activity.It is a main source of Noboribetsu's Onsen, hot spring waters.

5:30p.m. Arrive at your hotel in Noboribetsu, 1 night stay at HOTEL MAHOROBA in the western style room.The hotel features 31 different onsen.

Tuesday, October 06 Noboribetsu – Furano6:30-8:00a.m. Buffet breakfast at hotel.8:15a.m. Check-out of your hotel.8:30a.m. Bus departs for FURANO with one stop at NOBORIBETSU BEAR PARK.

Noboribetsu Bear Park is located at the top of Mount Shiho-rei, the mountain is commonly called“Bear Mountain”, which is 560 meters high. You need to take a ropeway ride from the NoboribetsuHot Spring town to the park. On the top of the mountain, there is also the Kuttara Observatory. Fromhere there is a great view of Lake Kuttarako, a lake which has the 2nd clearest water in Japan.You can see Ezo bears, they are the largest species of animal in Japan also in Hokkaido and wereworshiped by Ainu, the native Hokkaido people, as the God.

Lunch on your own at Service Area Restaurant on our way to Furano.BIEI BLUE POND (Aoiike) is named after it’s deep blue color which it owes to natural mineralsdissolved in the water. The pond is part of an erosion control system that was built to prevent damage toBiei in case of an eruption by nearby Mount Tokachidake.

TOMITA FARM to see flowers. With clear autumn skies in the background, the field is vividlyadorned with spider flowers, pretty ornaments in autumn gardens and the perpetual flowers thatbloom until the first frost.

DAISETSUZAN ASAHIDAKE is the highest mountain in Hokkaido, we will be taking ropewayround trip to see the autumn colors in the mountainous area.

Asahidake Ropeway Hokkaido Ice Pavillion Spa Facility at Art Hotel Asahikawa Buffet lunch at “Kita no Mori Garden” in Kamikawa.After lunch, HOKKAIDO ICE PAVILLION. This is the first museum in the world to provide the chilling experience of Hokkaido throughout the whole yearYour last stop for the day will be at Ginga No Taki (Milky Way Fall) and Ryusei No Taki(Shooting Stars Fall). These 2 waterfalls have earned their other names as Meotodaki (meaning "husband and wife waterfalls").

First stop, ASAHIKAWA SNOW CRYSTAL MUSEUM dedicated to the beauty of snow and ice.It recently became a huge hit thanks in part because its atmosphere resembles the movie "Frozen", andeverywhere there are fantasy-like scenery! As perfectly white as a snow sculpture and reminiscent ofan old European castle.

local products from Asahikawa.After lunch, OTOKOYAMA SAKE BREWERY a local sake brewed in spring water in Asahikawa.In 1977, it won Monde Selection award for Japanese sake. In addition, Otokoyama Sake Brewery won many gold medals in domestic and foreign liquor competition.

9:00a.m. Depart your hotel for SAPPORO.Enroute to Sapporo, we will make a stop at Highway Oasis Sunagawa (Service Area) forlunch on your own at your own expense, snacks, or shopping for local items to take home. Localfavorites are yubari melon pure jelly, corn chocolates, and etc.After lunch, a stop at OKURAYAMA SKI JUMP & SAPPORO WINTER SPORTS MUSEUM.At the foot of the jump hill stands the Sapporo Winter Sports Museum with exhibits about the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics and winter sports in general, including ski jump, bobsled and biathlon.The museum has a variety of fun sport simulation games that cover events like ski jump and hockey.Before getting to the hotel, a brief stop at ODORI PARK and CLOCK TOWER, these are thesymbol and landmark of Sapporo.

Saturday, October 10 Sapporo – Otaru – Sapporo6:30-8:45a.m. Breakfast at hotel.9:00a.m. Depart the hotel. Today we will go sightseeing around Sapporo & Otaru.

10a.m-1:00p.m 1st stop is OTARU, a small harbor town. Its main attraction is its charming canal district.Glass is one of the reputable local industries, view the beautiful glasses at the famous Kitaichi GlassShops known for their dripless shoyu bottles and color changing ones too.Some free time to walk around Otaru and check-out some tasty scallops cooked right in front ofyou at the seafood shops. 5 to 12 flavor ice cream shops, freshly made senbei, and couple shopswith Otaru Japanese Sake. We will give you some time to have lunch and shop along the canal area.Otaru is also known for “sushi”.

2:00-3:15p.m. Your last stop will be at the SHIROI KOIBITO PARK, a theme park by Ishiya and a local chocolatecompany. The company's flagship product is the Shiroi Koibito Cookie, which consists of two thinbutter cookies and a layer of white chocolate in between. It is one of the most famous souvenirs fromHokkaido. You will have the opportunity to make your own cookie, shaped of Hokkaido.

4:30p.m. After the tour, return back to the hotel. GENERAL CONDITIONS for Tours to Japan on Hawaiian Airlines

TOUR INCLUDES:Hotel accommodations, transfers, sightseeing, and round trip air transportation fromHonolulu, economy seating.Adjustments will be made if there is increase in fuel surcharges and any fluctuation inexchange rates between US Dollars and Japanese Yen.

The organizer assumes noresponsibility whatsoever, should a client, for any reason be refused entry into any particularcountry, and the subsequent costs entailed will have to be met by traveler in accordance withobligations that the organizer has in virtue of the contracts held with third parties.Passport must be valid within 6 months at time of departure.A photo copy of your passport is require for all tours.

IF THE TOUR OPERATOR CANCELS:Should N & K Travel Service, Inc. cancel a departure for any reason, your money will befully refunded.

CHANGES IN ITINERARIES:N & K Travel Service, Inc. will make every effort to operate all tours as disclosed in thisdocument. However, circumstances may arise which would require an adjustment to thetour. We will however do all that is possible to avoid such changes, but we must reservethe right to make such modifications if they are determined to be necessary.

GRATUITIES:Gratuities for the bilingual local guide, bus driver & guide are not included. The recommendedgratuity for the local Japanese-English Speaking Guide is 500 Yen per person per day and for thebus driver that will be with the group, 2 days or more, 250 Yen per person per day.

RESPONSIBILITY:This travel agency and/or its agents, sub-agents, sub-offices and affiliates act only asagents for the owners and contractors providing means of transportation or other servicesand all tickets and/or vouchers are issued subject to any terms and conditions underwhich such means of transportation or other services where offered or provided. Theissuance and acceptance of such tickets and/or vouchers shall be deemed to be consent tothe further conditions that this travel agency, its agents, sub-agents, sub-offices andaffiliates shall not become liable or responsible in any way in connections with suchmeans of transportation or other services, or for any loss, injury or damages arising fromthe default of a tour operator/carrier, lost/damaged baggage, trip cancellation, badweather, natural disaster or other acts of God. We reserve the right to cancel any tour 45days or more prior to departure date. All rates in this brochure/itinerary are subject tochange without notice.
