HEAR FROM THE EXPERTSWHAT THEY’RE SAYiNG ABOuT LukA GARZA

Gonzaga Head Coach Mark Few (12/19/20)“He’s a handful. He’s a wonderful player. He about fouled our whole team out.”

North Carolina Head Coach Roy Williams (12/7/20)“(Luka Garza) is really good. He’s the real deal. He has gotten better every year. Luka is expected to be one of the best player in the country, ifnotthebest.”

“And you look at the numbers that he’s put up and I think it boils down to one thing is he’s got probably tons more sweat than a lot of the guys have, and that’s something I really have always admired.”

Western Illinois Head Coach Rob Jeter (12/3/20)“You can watch film on Luka all you want, until you have to guard him. I think ourguyshaveadifferentappreciationforhimandhowtoughheis.”

Seth Greenberg (12/4/20)“LukaGarzaisthehardestplayingplayerinallofAmerica.The dude is relentless. He plays every single possession like it is his last of his career.”

Michigan State Head Coach Tom Izzo (2/24/20)“Luka Garza has one of the highest basketball IQ’s for a big guy that I have ever seen.”

Casey Jacobsen (2/20/20)“The Big Ten is completely loaded with big guys and Luka Garza has separated himself among this group. Heisclearlybetterinsideandout, andistougherthannails. I saw him get his face cracked open twice in one game and come back both times & still deliver.”

Dave Revsine (2/16/20)“LukaGarzaisphenomenal.As good as he looks on TV, it’s that much more impressive in person. He made himself into a great player through hard work and dedication.”

Minnesota Head Coach Richard Pitino (2/16/20)“LukaGarzaisterrific,oneofthebestplayersinthecountry.”

Nebraska Head Coach Fred Hoiberg (2/8/20)“LukaGarzaisasgoodaplayerasthereisinthecountry. He obviously has a skillset; you can’t stop him in the paint when he gets an angle. He carves out space as well as anybody I have seen at this level. He is able to step out and knock down the three, but thethingIlikemostishisintensity, effort, andrelentlessness and it is a good lesson for our young players to go out there and play with that type of effort every possession.”

Lefty Driesell, Maryland legend and father of Garza’s high school coach, via BTN The Journey (2/5/20)“Rightnow,he’sthebestpost-upbigmaninAmerica. He has all kinds of moves: hook shots, up-and-unders, goes underneath the basket, turn-around jumper.”

Wisconsin Head Coach Greg Gard (1/27/20)“His growth and development is similar to what I saw with Frank Kaminsky. Watching last year’s film and then seeing him this year up close, he’s made a tremendous jump, and he’s done a terrific job with his body. Heplayswithatremendousmotor.”

Jon Rothstein (1/27/20)“America is officially running out of adjectives for Luka Garza. First-TeamAll-American.”

Rutgers Head Coach Steve Pikiell (1/22/20)“(Luka) can post guys up and play angles. He’s relentless. He’saproblemforalotofpeople. This league is filled with a lot of good guys and he’satthetopofthelist.”

Stephen Bardo (1/22/20)“LukaGarza does everything, but sell popcorn and posters.

Michigan Head Coach Juwan Howard (1/17/20)“(Luka) has proven that he is one of the best college basketball players in the country.”

Stephen Bardo (1/4/20)“Ifyoulookuptheword,‘work’inthedictionary,youseeapictureofLukaGarza.He can’t go on vacation without working on his game. He can beat you inside and outside. Luka is one of the premiere players in the country. He keeps coming at you. Luka is a joy to watch.”

Seth Greenberg (12/12/19)“Luka Garza is a terrific player. He has great foot work, he can step out and shoot the three, and is a very good passer. Hehasacompleteoffensivegame.Heisarelentlessworker.Lukaisatoughmatch-upbecauseofhisenergy,passion,workethic,andhowversatileheisaroundthebasket.”

Dan Dakich (12/12/19)“LukaGarza can do everything. He’s as tough a player you are ever going to find. He can shoot it, and plays harder than anybody on the court. He’s fun to watch. He’s everything you want in a college basketball player.”

Robbie Hummel (12/9/19)“He wears you down. He’s so good at getting position. He draws contact and draws fouls as good as anyone in the country. He puts pressure on your defense. He’s such a nimble athlete. You love his balance. Hegetstowherehewantstogoandtakescontact.Heissoimpressive.”
