This is a presentation of the current figures of dentists in the Nordic countries. The figures include the number of dentists; their age and gender and how many of them that work in the public or the private sector. You will also find information about how many inhabitants per dentist there are in the different countries.The number of dental hygienists is also included.
The figures are based on the most recent published statistics in each country and have been found in collaboration with the dental associations in the Nordic countries.
