UBS Greater China Conference 2012 The Dragon Advances

UBS Greater China Conference (GCC) - media briefings As we enter 2012, the prospect of continued economic tightening and faltering global economic growth still looms large. Against this global backdrop, China's ongoing social transformation, and the country's imminent transition in political leadership, will China's leaders chart a new course for its economy? The UBS Greater China Conference, taking place in Shanghai between 9th and 13th January, will address many of the key issues that have the potential to shape China's economy. Now in its 12th year, the Greater China Conference has firmly established itself as the leading China forum in which to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing investors in the region. Last year, more than 2,500 participants, including nearly 1,400 domestic and international investors, attended. While the conference is closed to the media, we are hosting a series of media briefings on 9th and 10th January 2012 at which UBS analysts, economists and bankers will provide insight into a range of topics affecting China's financial markets and economy. Attached is a preliminary program and a list of representatives of UBS who will attend the conference. The number of places available for the media is extremely limited so please let me know if you wish to attend at the earliest opportunity. Best regards, Angel Angel Yeung Corporate Communications, UBS AG, 52/F Two International Finance Centre, 8 Finance Street, Central, HK Tel. +852 2971 6884 / +886 2 8722 7265 (direct); Mobile +852 9725 0297; e-mail: [email protected]
