The FSU Pub housed one ofFCC'S best bands last Thurs-day night. 406 headlined theall ages show, and Sexaphoneand Public Television got ev-erything stafted.

Usually tbe shows at the Pubare pretty jumping, but some-thing was teribly wrong at thisshciw. Tbe audience seemed tobe glued to their seats, min-icking dazed-out lumps whocould not remember wbat todo when good music was be-ing played.

T[is was understandableduring tbe first two acts, asmusical ability was grosslylacking. But it was sad to see¿O6 play a great set to a bunchof blant faces. The audiencejust did not get it. 406 playeda tigbt set, sounding just a bitlike a Tool, but not taking theeasy route of duplicatingTool's style. Hopefully 406will be able to book showswhere tùe audience will ap-preciate their style and abili-ties. A band of their caliberdeserves a much bener reac-tion tìan what they got at tbePub.

Plroto By Georgia Poncrhelp assist Food Not Bombsand the needle, exchange pro-gram. The next benefit to beheld is scheduled for Mar. 16and will include a barbecueand two bands. This event isplanned ro be held at ClubFred.
