What is Work It! Louisiana?
Work It! Louisiana is an awareness campaign designed to educate students & parents on technical education, career paths and job opportunities in Terrebonne, Lafourche, St. Mary and Assumption Parishes… And most recently the River Parishes of St. John, St. James, & St Charles would like to participate.

workshops for champions7. Technical education brochure for educators
& students (also to be mailed to graduating seniors).
Parent and student awareness programs in conjunction with the technical high
schools, colleges, university programs and businesses.
Designed to educate student groups on the
value, need & benefit of a technical education as it relates to the workforce.

Assumption 8th grade Career Fair
1. A “One-Stop Shop” that included 15 businesses, technical instructors, education requirements and financial aid.
2. Provided several hands-on simulation programs for student participation.
3. Over 100 students, plus parents attended event.
NSU Program1. A program designed to inform university
denials and drop outs with alternate career options through technical education at the university & technical colleges.
2. Provide a comprehensive brochure on the alternatives.
3. Look to additional methods of follow up.
