I. Introduction

The Abrites Engine control unit programming tool is a tooldeveloped to unite all the BOOT MODE functionality of ourcompany. Using it you will be able to read and write EEPROM viaBOOT MODE, read and write flash via boot mode, clone enginecontrol units, calibrate mileage values to match the vehicle andmany others. The tool works in conjunction with the Abrites ZN051distribution box in order to assure reading and writing to the ECU.

We support many ECU types for many brands such as:-BMW - BOSCH-ISUZU - BOSCH-KIA/ HYUNDAI -BOSCH, CONTINENTAL, DELPHI, KEFICO-MERCEDES - BOSCH, CONTINENTAL, DELPHI-MINI - BOSCH-PORSCHE - BOSCH-PEUGEOT/ CITROEN - BOSCH-RENAULT - BOSCH-VAG - BOSCH

II. USING THE ABRITES ENGINE CONTROL UNIT PROGRAMMINGTOOL

The Abrites engine control unit programming tool will allow you to select the brand you are working on. Then select the ECU type.

You can then select the option to read depending on what is available:

When you press connect you will initiate communication with the Engine Control Unit and read the ECU password if available:

After ensuring that you can read the ECU you can go ahead and see the functionality available. Here you can see the reading of the ECU password:

We can now read the EEPROM(DATA FLASH):

Once this is done we can go ahead and save the EEPROM(DATA FLASH) to a File.

We can read the internal/external flash(PROGRAM FLASH) as well. Also save them to a file for later use.

We can easily read and write the EEPROM(DATA FLASH), internal flash/external flash(PROGRAM FLASH), save them and keep them for later use. We can also easily write them to other ECUs as a helpful tool for replacement.
