WELCOME
Due to the natural disaster, Hurricane Sandy, we decided to rebuild homes and a community center for the town Breezy
Point.
• Breezy Point sits on a peninsula, making it vulnerable
• Susceptible to high levels of flooding, winds and spread of fire
• Goal: To use materials to prevent fire and withstand hurricanes
• The community center was created to involve everyday life and recovery in case of another disaster.
