ChallengesThis project's main challenge was to align the
migration of a complex ecosystem in a single work front. In addition to migrating SAP ECC to HANA, other systems were equalized for the Sybase ASE database, leading ACHÉ to standardize their technical scenarios.
Success StoryThis project can be considered a success story, as
the work focused on digital transformation enabled the technological upgrade of SAP ECC environments at Aché Group to SAP HANA's new in-memory database platform, ensuring the replacement of standard transactions, with less support costs in the future and information available analytically.
In addition, the project "HANA.A" was considered one of the best success stories in Brazil this year, awarding FH and Aché with third place at ASUG Impact Awards 2016, SAP community's main event, highlighting the best IT cases in the country. We had significant gains related to information storage, savings on database licensing
and more consolidated systems architecture. Moreover, there were gains in processing business transactions.
